An even more highly effective toy commercial than He-Man, this one felt like it got at least a little more in depth at times. Still pretty bad by today's standards.

Probably the most iconic cartoon from the 80's. This was every 80's kids favourite cartoon (except for me) Not that it was bad or anything, but it was always number 2 on my list. I was more into snakes. Mainly Cobras.

I liked this cartoon a lot when I was a kid. I sill like it now. I just like the stories and if it would be consistent This would be a great show. Out of the normal transformers I always liked Optimus Prime and the airplanes like Starscreen,, Thundercracker and especially Sky warp. As for the big Robots Devastator was like an awesome one to see in the first season when he took on the dinobots.

Pretty overrated, honestly. The stories and dialogue are silly and ridiculous, the characters are all varied and such but really, there's too many of them crammed in here to be given the proper time to develop. Fortunately that was never the writers' intention to begin with, only to show the robots battling each other. Just another long-winded toy commercial, nothing more. Also, how can the non-fliers fly? I never understood that, makes them turning into jets pointless other than for disguise.

I'd actually say the toys were a commercial for this rather than the other way around. Otherwise why would kids ever watch this?
