Solid if not exceptional mobster drama. A good cast, likable lead and sufficient conflict make it a decent watch. The main bad biker is a bit cartoony evil, and the female federal agent relationship seems a little forced, but its not too distracting.

Misses that certain something to be really interesting or exciting in the long run. The biggest problem is way too many characters show up without really being introduced to the audience to care about them or seem exciting, even "Dwight" himself. Just too little character development, backstories, flashbacks whatever. They tried it a little with "Tyson", but it didn't really work effectively. Otherwise, solidly done, but lacking the spark for me!

Season 1 only. Most points deducted for perpetuating the Noble Mobster BS I hate. Still if I must deal with this kind of dishonest mythologizing of horrible people, at least it's being overseen by Terence Winter, one of my favorite writers who made this more and more compelling as it went. It's also great to see Stallone in something well written. Winter also isn't as Woke as this show's creator, Taylor Sheridan, who superficially writes about cowboys while pandering to women & Native Americans

Bussin, perfect show

Season 2 may need to start to introduce some redeeming qualities for some of these characters if this is to have legs. It’s fairly standard mobster fare, with Sly’s charm and watchability filling in the multiple cracks.

What a super series, great drama and acting and a hilarious tense story. Cant wait for season 2 with such a cliffhanger

I was thinking initially I didn’t need another gangster / crime / antihero drama as long as I live. But it won me over with its novel rural settings, some wry humor and Stallone’s movie star presence anchoring things. Definitely seems Sheridan, Winter etc were relishing getting to write for Stallone and they don’t waste him. However I notch it down a bit for a couple things in the season finale I found rather unconvincing and unlikely. Would still watch season 2 though.
