Not as good as "Freaks and Geeks", but this was another short lived series from the mind of Judd Apatow, that should have been so much more than it was. Guest spots abound...and still it died....but why? Baruchel perfectly captures what it's like to be an uncool freshman virgin in college, and the rest of the cast shines just as bright. Highlights include episodes with Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell. A real tragedy that this didn't get more seasons (although it pushed Seth Rogen to the top)

Hard to rate. When I first got the DVD set in 2005, I loved it. I mean, the world of quality single-cam non-laugh track sitcoms at that point was basically only this show and Arrested Development, so it automatically felt fresh and different. I watched it all like three times and showed it to lots of people. Now we have dozens and dozens of single-cam sitcoms, and Undeclared isn't so special anymore. Community in particular makes it almost wholly irrelevant. I still have nostalgia for it though.

almost said 73 or 74. i think it was the romance stuff that keeps it up enough. at first, then at times, it really does seem like the proper successor to freaks aside from lacking something like Lindsay

This was before Judd Apatow got really terrible but you could still see hints of how pathetic of a human he is in this. It's not surprising that a guy who did one semester of college made a completely unrealistic show about college. Introduced us to the god awful Jay Baruchel but gave us the wonderful Charlie Hunnam so I'll call it a wash. Had some good cameos but overall just another sitcom that glorifies the DYEL beta male, a Judd Apatow staple

Not as good as Freaks and Geeks it still has a very talented young cast that are likable and funny.
