Under Wraps is a very sweet movie about a boy who can't come to grips with his mother's new relationship. The boy befriends a mummy that he and his friends inadvertently woke from his slumber and they need to get him back to his sarcophagus before midnight. The mummy becomes a father figure to the boy. It's heavy-handed but this is a movie made for kids. The mummy and the guy dating the boy's mother are played by the same actor. The acting in this movie is fair. Add it to your Halloween list.

Not better or worse than the 2021 remake just different and smaller scale. I preferred the mummy from the remake but I thought that the kids in the original did a better job.

A surprisingly touching movie that stands out as one of the best DCOMs. I will be adding this to the Halloween rotation

I'm pretty sure I watched this but may have only seen commercials.

Watching this as an adult I realize there are some deep, deep Freudian undertones to this whole thing about maturation and awakening. Also dumb mummy is funny.
