What a crazy story. Insane. Amazing for a hockey fan that had never heard of them before. Great interviews although it'd have been better to get a feel for opposing players and mgmt on what was happening in their league. Overall it's worthy of an entertaining 7.5.

Incredible. You get to really see into these peoples' minds and perspectives and understand their logic, their reasoning, and never once lose sight of the fact that they're true scumbags. The way they get teary-eyed and nostalgic about the pain and hurt they caused, how they never stopped reveling in literally becoming the villains of their own story, you kind of have to admire that in a way. Fascinating story, and an important look into sports/mob mentalities.

A story I knew nothing about, told well and kept me interested throughout. Everyone’s interviewed, but keeping all this crowd happy is probably why it’s a bit flimsy with the information provided (particularly on Jimmy’s alleged crimes). Would get a higher mark but for this fault: you’re left feeling a little short-changed on almost every aspect of the Trasher’s tale, which is not what you want from any documentary. The selection of clips in the OTT editing is a bit suspect too.
