My Blind Brother

The familiar love triangle story, but this time with a brother who's blind. A lot less funny than what these guys are capable of.

Honestly this movie should be much better. The cast is great with natural chemistry. The problem (be it the writing, directing, or editing) is that this film just comes across as being too emotionally blunt. There was absolutely no nuance or subtlety in how this film handles emotions. The concept is there, but the execution is very subpar.

My Blind Brother is a surprisingly enjoyable RomCom that bucks the trend of American movies badly trying to imitate their British counterparts with foppish characters that ooze charm, instead going with annoying characters and dark humour. The tone is seedy which works, and at times covers for the lack of character depth. Kroll and Scott play well of each other; and full disclosure, I have a weird crush on Slate. While it certainly has its flaws, at under 90 min it's not a bad watch.

Kardeş filmi. Aynı kıza aşık olan 2 erkek kardeş, abilerinin kör olmasıyla olaylar gelişir. Bir ağbi-kardeş filminden çok, kankalığa dönüşüyor. Adam Scott olmak üzere, oyuncular çok iyi. Filmin kısa süresine karşın ağır ilerliyor. 10 dakikalık bir yemek sahnesi var ki, kapatıp bırakabilirsiniz. Filmin sonunda, barış sağlanıyor. Düzgün bir son olmuş. Kardeşim Benim.
