Dated social comedy still works as fluffy entertainment, with Sellers in terrific comic form and Cummings the perfect embodiment of the 50s idea of an uppity shrew(!) Lacks any sort of resonance or relevance to a modern era, but still fun.

One of my favorite Peter Sellers movies. He plays the mousy and reliable Mr. Martin. Very good acting and tight, clever script. The sexual politics are a bit dated, but still enjoyable.

Enjoyable but dated comedy, very much in the UK mode of the time. Needs a bit of patience as some of the roles and situations are cliched. Modern audiences may find it a bit bland. Rated 65 where 65 = OK with reservations, viewer will need to have some sympathy for the time it was made

This film is dated but is still has plenty of entertaining moments. Peter Sellers is good in the lead role and Constance Cummings is also very good. There are a few slow spots. Overall I would recommend this film to fans of old British films.
