The Go-Getter

Thoroughly enjoyable, beautifully shot and edited, excellent dialogue in places and a lovely score.

A study in 'quirky indie' clichés. It wasn't bad and a few moments stood out but on the whole it all felt like something I've seen before and not particularly well executed at that.

don't let the dvd cover or cast fool you. this film is excellent. highly recommended.

One of the two of my very favorite movies. Brilliant acting and directing, very beautiful scenery caught on camera in a way very few people can.

When the film steers away from cliche it is quite enjoyable. The protagonist is slightly less annoying than he was in Thumbsucker and Zooey doesn't jar like she does with most films.

The Go-Getter is an indie road movie, which is a genre where all of the participants feel incredibly similar. It does nothing to separate itself from the pack, and in fact is so vapid and distant from its actors that even the best performances in the world wouldn't be able to save it. You need to get in touch with these characters, and you can't do it from the "objective" filmmaking method used to create the film.

It was an interesting plot line and the dialogue is good at times, but overall I felt the movie was pretty cool in the way it served more than I intended it to.

Fabulous soundtrack, and Nick Offerman!

beautifully shot little, naive, independent movie..a bit depressive at times but overall very enjoyable to watch

Good Movie

bonus for nick offerman playing three roles. and zooey being hot.

Watched for the interesting premise,and some good actors in it but this movie made zero sense to me. Awful
