The Magic Voyage of Sinbad

That wasn't Sinbad.

The moral of the story seems to be that communism isn't the solution, but nothing's better so stick with communism. A mixed message to say the least. The production design is certainly ambitious with many old school effects harkening back to Melies. Not sure I can even recommend this for children. [MST3k has a ball on this one and also has some of their best skits ever.]

Generally a pretty tedious affair, though it does pick up a bit by the time we run into the Vincent Price emperor guy, and the end gets downright zany, when we meet Neptune and his wife and they turn out to be the Lockhorns. Sinbad riding that sea horse out of Dodge was pretty wacky too. As usual with these things, this is a medicine best taken with MST accompaniment.

This needed way better pacing, otherwise it's not bad, the visuals were pretty at least.
