it's got satisfatory extras, nothing special, but it's not like you can buy the series without getting the extras anyway.

i, for the most part go to pawn shops for movies, but since i last went to a pawn shop i got "stalker" and a buster keaton collection with 21 full length movies and about as many shorts.

Didn't own any Hitchcock films before, strangely. Came across this ludicrously cheap 14 disc box set, ordered it yesterday. :)

I very rarely buy a DVD, but I've bought the DVD edition of 'Luca' released by Rolling Stone magazine in Argentina, and I've asked my mother, that is currently in Israel, to buy the DVD of 'Waltz With Bashir', a glorious and beautiful film no matter which side of the israeli-palestinian conflict you are on (a fact that people tend to miss, and rate the film according to their political agenda to then go on discussions that have really nothing to do with the film. I'm not refering to Criticker users, though).

I rarely buy DVDs, but I'm finding it pretty hard to resist these lately:

Louis Malle Collection: Volume 2
Fanny and Alexander

I think I'm finally coming to terms with the fact that they're just not going to put F&A on TV.

I might also get Ratcatcher in order to get at Lynne Ramsay's earlier shorts.
