Advocate Kurishummoottil Mariamma is known for her rhetoric and volatile temper while in court. Her only son is Vava, a proud and arrogant brat who looks after the family farm when he is not engaged in fisticuffs in the neighbourhood. Though he is the village bully, in front of his mother he is as tame as a house cat, and never does anything against her wishes. The story is about Davarmathom Narayanan (Mammootty), the virtual ruler of a small hamlet, Perumaalpuram, that has kept all the vices of the modern world at bay. His uncle (Nedumudi Venu) and cousins (Siddique and co) are his sworn enemies, and belong to the Kaliyaarmadam family. Prajapathi is the story of the rivalry between these two families.

The story is about Sethumadhavan (Mohanlal), the son of Achuthan Nair (Thilakan), a Police Constable who wishes to make his son a Police Inspector. Achuthan Nair gets transferred into a town whose residents are troubled by the rowdy Keerikkadan Jose (Mohan Raj). One day Achuthan Nair tries to arrest Keerikkadan who was creating trouble. But Achuthan Nair turns out to be no match for the goon. Sethumadhavan intervenes & defeats Keerikkadan. Later, Keerikkadan targets Sedhumadhavan & his family.

Mangalassery Neelakantan (Mohanlal) is the heir to the well known Mangalaserry family, who squanders away his father's wealth and good name, but is loved by the people who knows him well. The rivalry between Mangalaserry Neelakantan (Mohanlal) and Mundakkal Shekaran (Napolean), who has been the arch rival of Neelakantan from their childhood days, is the main theme of the movie.

Mary John Kurishingal (Nafisa Ali), better known as Mary 'Teacher', a social activist and a beacon of hope to the orphans of Kochi, is murdered. Her four foster sons take it upon themselves to unearth the mystery behind their mother's murder, and with the eldest Bilal (Mammootty) leading them, work their way up the dirty side of the city, which churns with petty crime gangs, drugs and prostitution. How they accomplish their revenge forms the rest of the story.

Achuthan (Manian Pillai Raju) is in love with Nandini (Menaka), who is his cousin (maternal uncle's daughter). But his uncle K. P. Thankappan Nair (Nedumudi Venu) will only allow a person from abroad to marry her. So Achuthan pretends to leave town to go to Dubai, while really staying at a lodge in a nearby town, to trick his uncle.

Devan (Jayaram), a meek, honest farmer and the village darling, gets into trouble with the local hoodlum, Ripper (Riyaz Khan), and runs away to Pollachi with his friend Dasan (Jagathi) in tow. There he meets his look-alike Pazhani (Jayaram), who is the exact opposite of Devan in character. Upon persuasion from Dasan, Palani and Devan agree to switch places, and various comic and chaotic situations ensue.

When relatives of the wealthy and of the royal bloodline Udaya Varma (Nedumudi Venu) learn that they can get hold of his wealth only after his death, they decided to get Udaya Varma killed. One of the relatives Ravi Varma (Sreenivasan), goes to Mumbai in search of a killer for hire. There he meets an old acquaintance Jamal (Mammukoya) who introduces him to Abdullah (Mohanlal) as the prospective killer. Abdullah, who is strapped for cash, assumes the name of Ananthan to get close to Udaya Varma.

When the pompous and arrogant Madhavan aka M. A. Dhavan (Sreenivasan), an American return, had to go see a girl for marriage purposes, he swaps places with his chauffeur Shambu (Mohanlal), with catastrophic and hilarious results.

Unnikrishnan (Mohanlal) is a police officer who is sent to track down a college professor turned dangerous criminal, Kurian Fernandez (Nedumudi Venu). Along with his friend Peter Kaliyikka (Mukesh), he performs surveillance on Fernandez's daughter Gaadha (Girija) who lives in a flat with her aunt (Sukumari), to gather the details and whereabouts of her father. The rest of the story is about how Unnikrishnan gets to the criminal via his daughter.

Appukuttan & Ananthan (Jagadish) are twin brothers, but exact opposites. Ananthan is a "Kalari" expert, doesn't care about his family & is a roamer. Appukuttan, in contrast, is amiable & struggles to support their family in Ananthan's absence. In another town, Swamy (Pujappura Ravi) is in needs of a toughie to get rid of his bothersome tenants & he tries to recruit Ananthan for the job, hearing of his repute. Appukuttan receives the offer letter meant for Ananthan, & decides to go posing as him.

Balan (Shankar) & Narayanankutty (Mohanlal) are best friends living in Madras. Balan constantly feeds his uncle & aunt, lies about him being rich, to be able to marry their daughter, Ammu. Narayanankutty, an auto mechanic, is a self-proclaimed playboy & claims to have many girlfriends, to impress his co-workers. All these turn against them when Balan's uncle, aunt & cousin come to visit him, and Narayanankutty claims that he and millionaire M. N. Nambiar's (Thilakan) daughter are in love.

Binoy (Ashokan), Nassar (Ganesh Kumar), Sudhir (Baiju) & Rajeev (Mahesh) are college-mates & friends who are always chasing girls, intimidating the students & causing trouble. When Binoy forcefully gets inside Anitha's (Saumya) umbrella on a rainy day to cross the road, it gets broadcast on TV. Anitha's fiancé Lalu (Saikumar) misconstrues the event & cancels their wedding. Angered at Binoy, Anitha sets out to wreck revenge on him, which was the start of a string of troubles for Binoy & friends.

After 'Nadodikkattu (1987)' and 'Pattana Pravesham (1988)', CIDs Ramdas (Mohanlal) and Vijayan (Sreenivasan) are back for another wacky adventure. After a priceless gold crown is stolen from India, Ramdas and Vijayan are sent to the USA to retrieve it. The only clues they have is a pseudonym "Paul Barber", and a piece of a torn shirt. In the States, the two remain as helpless and clueless as they were in the two prequel films and realize that this is their toughest case yet. (imdb)

'Sorakalyanam', a Malabar custom where friends of the bridegroom make fun of the bridegroom & the bride by playing practical jokes on them, forms the backdrop for the film. 'Thaaraavu' Manukuttan (Indrajith) & his friends have always been doing such things with others. Everyone knows & understands that they themselves will be at the receiving end of this quaint custom when their turn comes for getting married. But when Manukuttan's turn came, his friends' jokes cause things to get out of hand.

Tharashankar (K.P. Ummar) & his nephew Tharadas (Mammootty), gold smugglers, runs a racket with the support of the local fishers. Cops Rajesh (Captain Raju) & Prasad (Mohanlal) are after them. During an encounter, Tharashankar is killed by Rajesh, & in revenge, Tharashankar's son Chandru (Ravindran) & Chandru's chum Charlie (Lalu Alex) kills Rajesh. Mistaking Tharadas to be the reason for Rajesh's death, Rajesh's widow (& Tharadas's ex-lover) Thulasi (Seema) & Prasad vows to bring Tharadas down.

Bellary Raja (Mammootty), when disowned by his mother, so she could marry Rajarathnam Pillai (Saikumar), leaves town, but keeps in touch with Rajarathnam. Rajarathnam's real son, Rajaselvam (Manoj K. Jayan) & daughter Rani (Sindhu Menon) are greedy & always fighting amongst each other. Meanwhile, Rajarathnam gets framed, jailed & murdered. In his will, he makes Raja the caretaker of all his holdings for the next 25 years. Raja sets about to carry out Rajarathnam's will & to reunite his family.

When Unnikrishnan (Jayaram), although highly educated, finds it difficult to get a teaching job, he applies for the job of a private detective with a firm called Secret Files. As a trainee, he is asked to find out the details of Arundathi Nair (Rohini), the daughter of a rich businessman Ananthapadmanabhan (Sukumaran), as part of a marriage proposal investigation. Little did he know that two other trainees are also on the case - Oomen Koshy (Jagathy Sreekumar) & Premshankar (Manian Pillai Raju).

Sankaran Nair (Thilakan), a Retd. driver has 4 kids - bank employee Krishnanunni (Balachandra Menon), drama artist Preman Vadakkummuri (Sreenivasan), & students Gopu (Baiju) & Rema (Parvathi). For Krishnanunni, everything is based on money, & this mentality of his brings friction within the family. He gets into a war of words with Sankaran Nair, & demands back the INR 25,000 he spent on Rema's wedding. Sankaran Nair vows to pay back the debt, & kicks Krishnanunni out of the house.

Shyam (Mohanlal) is a playboy who, with the help of his long-suffering maid Dick Ammayi (Sukumari) & his friend Anil Kumar (Mukesh) who joins him later, juggles 3 different girlfriends who are assigned to routes on non-intersecting flight schedules - only one woman is in town at any given time. This works like a charm at the start wherein none of the ladies are aware of each other's presence in Shyam's apartment, but things start to crumble which leads to a series of funny events.

Mukundan K. Kartha (Mohanlal) lives in a small colony where there's a water shortage problem. His job has been made permanent, and he is secretly in love with this neighbor Menon's (Thikkurisi Sukumaran Nair) daughter Sumithra (Renjini). When things start to look good for Mukundan, his old college classmate Viswanath (Sreenivasan) visits him after many years. Viswanath is a con artist, who, unknown to Mukundan, takes advantage of him and the other colony dwellers, and lands Mukundan in trouble.

Ravi Kumar (Balachandra Menon), SI of Police, frequently quarrels with, but loves his wife Shobana (Shobana), whom he had married against the wishes of her rich father, Azhimathi Naraapilla (Adoor Bhasi). When Ravi meets his old college pal Dinesh (Sreenath), who is now jailed, Dinesh requests Ravi to drop by at his house every now & then to console his distraught wife. Ravi hides this matter from Shobana, afraid of her misconstruing it. But Shobana starts to suspect that something's going on.

Medical Representative Mathew Ninan Koshy (Mukesh), a self-proclaimed playboy enters into a bet with his three roommates, Bank Cashier Pavithran (Siddique), Tutorial College Lecturer Murthy (Manian Pillai Raju) & Ravi (Suresh Gopi) who runs an exporting company called Falcon Exporters, wherein each of them would point out a girl to Mathew, whom he would woo in a month's time. Mathew sets out to fulfill his bet, with hilarious & disastrous results.

P.K. Sudhakaran (Sreenivasan) comes to the village of Velliyankara as the newly appointed teacher at the new village primary school, only to find that Madhavan Ezhuthachan (Nedumudi Venu), the person who made the school possible, & who had taken Rs. 30,000 from him for the job, has died & his son Prabhakaran (Murali) is trying to block the school from opening & to strip his step-mother & step-sister from Ezhuthachan's assets. Sudhakaran decides to legally take on Prabhakaran & get his job back.

Appu & Achchu (Mammootty) are the twin sons of Ravunni (Janardanan), a ballet artist. While Appu is noisy & talkative, Achchu is forced to silence as he was born dumb. These differences resulted in hostility brewing between them & their father had to let them grow up apart. Appu grew up in Pollachi, whilst Achchu grew up with his father in Palghat & is now the main artist in his father's ballet troupe. The two brothers are still enemies, but their friends & family wishes to see them united.

Malavika (K.P.A.C. Lalitha) of the Kunnathu family has three sons - Sreedharan (Jagathi Sreekumar), Dineshan (Manian Pillai Raju) & Balachandran (Jayaram). The elder two have all girl children, which doesn't bode well with Malavika, who is obsessed with the idea of having a boy in the household. Balachandran falls in love & marries Ambika (Sudharani), but when they too get a girl child, Balachandran is forced to lie about this & pretend that his pal Pappan's (Biju Menon) boy child is his own.

Keshava Panicker (Madhu), an honest engineer, has a lot of dreams for his son Unni (Mammootty), a medical student. But when Unni teams up with four of his rich and spoiled college mates, he falls into bad ways. To support his new lifestyle, he starts stealing money from his parents & accepting bribes from his dad's acquaintances. This enrages his dad who kicks him out of the house, leaving his mother Sridevi (Srividya) & his cousin/girlfriend Parvathi (Poornima Jayaram) torn between the two men.

Bobby (Mohanlal), who was brought up by his uncle I.G. Mathews (Thilakan) after his parents died in a plane crash, was all set to marry the daughter of a family friend Chacko (K.P. Ummar), when an old flame from college, Neena (Shobana), shows up at his doorstep with a child & claims it to be his. Bobby tries to prove his innocence with the help of a co-worker Daisy, with his attempts complicated by the fact that Daisy's husband Unnunni (Jagathi) was suspecting an affair between him & Daisy.

High-court justice M.K. Menon (Thilakan) was a martinet who sentenced his own son, Marancheri Induchoodan (Mohanlal), for murder, for 6 years, although Induchoodan pleaded innocent. Returning back from jail, Induchoodan locks horns with enemies of his father - the Manappally family, who he believed framed him. In the ensuing tug of war, Manappally Pavithran (N.F. Varghese) frames M.K. Menon of killing his own illegitimate daughter Induleka (Kanaka). Induchoodan fights for his father's release.

S.P. Siddharth Mahadev (Suresh Gopi), assisted by C.I. Aravind (Krishnakumar), investigates the murder of a retired senior police officer Sathar (Rizabawa). He is later summoned by his former boss, Nambiar (Rajan P. Dev) to help find his missing daughter Meera Nambiar (Honey Rose). Nambiar also ends up killed soon after. Siddharth lands 2 suspects in Meera's case - an orphan Rahul Krishna (Bala) & an innkeeper Sankaranarayanan (Murali), but they give totally opposite accounts of what happened.

Nandu (Mohanlal), smitten with Seetha (Poornima Jayaram), seeks her hand in marriage & they get engaged. 3 days before their wedding, Nandu gets killed in a motorcycle accident, leaving Seetha devastated. Tragedy strikes again when Seetha's elder sister Nirmala (Seema) suffers a miscarriage & eventually, total paralysis. Thinking that Nirmala would never recover & her daughter Sonykutty (Shalini) would be motherless, Seetha's family pressurizes her to marry her brother-in-law Sethu (Mammootty).

Jagannathan (Mohanlal), friend of a rich businessman Nandakumar (Saikumar), buys Kanimangalam Kovilakam, a disputed ancestral home currently occupied by a girl, Unnimaya (Manju Warrier) & her surrogate father Krishna Varma (Oduvil). He starts off scaring them, but soon turns benevolent, protecting the people of Kanimangalam from the evil patriarch of the Kolappulli family, Kolappulli Appan (Narendra Prasad) & deciding to restart the defunct festival at the Kanimangalam temple, angering Appan.

When Chandri (Urvashi), Sivan's (Mammootty) sister, gets pregnant outside of marriage & seeing Sivan's anger at this, Chandri names Sivan's best friend, Chellan (Gopi), as the father & hearing this Sivan kills Chellan. Resolute on revenge, Chellan's brother Bhadran (Mohanlal) sells Chandri off to a brothel & awaits Sivan's return from the jail. But after Sivan's return, when Bhadran is stabbed by a couple of his enemies, Sivan comes to Bhadran's rescue, in spite of Bhadran's enemity towards him.

When a young girl, Devi (Suchitra), gets killed during a train journey from Trivandrum to Madras, on board the No: 20 Madras Mail train, three young men - Tony Kurishinkal (Mohanlal), Hitchcock Kanjikuzhi (Manian Pillai Raju) & Kumbalam Hari (Jagadish) - suspected of murder, go on the run from the Police, & also tries to find the real murderer. They seeks help from & gets it from movie star Mammootty (Mammootty), who also happened to be a traveler on the train, the night the girl was killed.

"Aadu" Thoma (Mohanlal), a notorious rowdy in the small town of Injimukku & his father, Chacko (Thilakan), a famed Math teacher who was felicitated by the Indian President, both hate each other & isn't on talking terms, with Thoma's mother Mary (K.P.A.C. Lalitha) & sister Jancy (Chippy), torn between them. Thoma's old childhood friend Thulasi (Urvashi) returns to town, & although Thoma gets initially irritated by her antics, he starts reforming bit by bit. However, Thoma's old foes don't let go.

Unnikrishnan (Dileep), an orphan & someone convicted as a juvenile, saves Qasim Baba's (Lal) life from a group of killers. Unnikrishnan assumes the name of Salaam as per advice from Baba & joins Baba's forces. Suleiman (Shammi Thilakan), Baba's nephew, murders Baba & puts the blame on Salaam & he gets sentenced to life. In jail, he joins up with 3 of his old pals from the juvenile home & plans to get back at Suleiman. Soon, Baba's old right-hand men also learns of Salaam's innocence & joins him.

Lal Krishna Viradiyar (Suresh Gopi), a lawyer who dispenses his own sense of justice by proving criminals to be innocent in court & later killing them secretly, takes up the case for 9 female medical students accused of murdering & dismembering a freshman student, Chinthamani Warrier (Bhavana), with the intention of freeing them & exacting his revenge later. But as the case advances, Lal Krishna learns that the accused are actually innocent & someone else is responsible for Chinthamani's death.

The story begins with Anandan, who makes a maiden trip to his native village, Sivapuram. His purpose? To make good his promise to his recently deceased mother that he would dissolve her ashes in a river near Manthrikapura, a mystical garden, and light a lamp in Sivakavu, a strange and dark place in Sivapuram. However, as soon as he lands in Sivapuram, Anandan finds out that what he heard and what he sees are two different things.

With the aim of pleasing his dearest friend, a heart patient, & giving him a memorable vacation before he returned back to America, Kaimal (Nedumudi) recruits a thief Vishnu (Mohanlal), to act as the husband of his dearest friend's daughter Kalyani (Renjini), after Kalyani was snubbed by her lover Ravi (Shanawas) on the day of their wedding. After some initial spats, Vishnu & Kalyani gets attracted to each other, but soon Kalyani learns that Vishnu has a tragic past & an even more tragic future.

To retrieve some precious diamonds which were stolen from Udaya Varma (Jagannatha Varma), Police commissioner Samuel (C.I. Paul) devises a plan to fake Udaya Varma's death & recruits Ramadas (Raju) as a fake assassin. The plan goes through, but later Samuel gets killed, making Ramadas a fugitive. Meanwhile, Ramadas's girlfriend Shoba's (Menaka) brother Venugopal (Mohanlal) is on the run from David Antony Fernandez (Captain Raju), a crook who believes Venugopal knows the location of the diamonds.

Sivaprasad aka Sivan (Mohanlal), a communist party worker, gets appointed as the chairman of the Devaswom Board, after being nominated by party leader Shekaran (Soman). When the head priest of the temple Parameshwaran Namboothiri (Thikkurisi ) goes against their corrupt ways, Sivan enlists the help of his best friend Vasu (Jayaram) to frame the priest, after which the priest commits suicide in humiliation. A guilty Vasu turns against the temple corruption causing friction between him & Sivan.

Anjana (Khushboo), the forsook daughter of famous politico Vishwanatha Menon (Madhu), comes to him demanding that he recognize her & her mother Prabhadevi (K.R. Vijaya). Hearing about this, Vishwanatha Menon's adopted son Devan (Ganesh Kumar) recruits don Chandrasenan (Narendra Prasad) to kill Anjana. Not knowing this, Chandrasenan's younger brother Vishnu (Suresh Gopi), another toughie, had already promised to protect Anjana. Both brothers, adamant to keep their word, turns against each other.

Hariharan, a Retd. Intelligence Officer who runs a security agency, is approached by Latha (Rekha) to find out a woman named Raji (Ragini) who was blackmailing her, threatening to reveal secrets about her father. Soon, Raji is found dead & CI Peter (Lalu Alex) began questioning Hariharan, who had been asking around for Raji. Later, Latha's troubler cousin Suresh (Vijayaraghavan), who was colluding before with Raji, is also found dead. Hariharan tries to unravel the secrets behind both murders.

Govindankutty (Mohanlal) grew up hearing people call him a bastard & nursed intense hate towards his father, a Tamilian who forsook his mother Gauri (Bharathi) when she was pregnant & carried a knife with him to kill his father, should he ever find him. Anantha Subramaniam (Shivaji Ganesan) arrives in the village as the new contractor who leased the village's sand quarry. Govindankutty seeks a job with Subramaniam, without knowing that Subramaniam is his father he had been seeking all his life.

Arun (Indrajith) & his 2 relations Mahindran (Manoj K. Jayan) & Ganeshan (Shammi), injects Ashwathy (Bhavana), key witness to a murder & lawyer Ramesh Nambiar's (Mammootty) sister, with morphia & rapes her. Karthik (Dileep), Ashwathy's lover & Devan's (Mohanlal) brother, tries to catch them but gets killed. Antony Punnekadan IPS (Suresh Gopi), in charge of the case, arrests Arun but is saved by Ramesh, unaware of what Arun did to his sister. An enraged Devan tries to avenge his brother's death.

Akbar Ahmed aka "Akki" (Prithviraj) is a young director who achieved success with his debut movie "Brothers". For his next venture, he chooses to tell the tale of the reigning superstar of Malayalam cinema Ajay Chandran (Anoop Menon), & his long forgotten wife & star of yesteryear Malavika (Priyamani). Hearing of Akki's plans, Ajay tries to prevent him from digging into his past, but a determined Akki goes forward, & seeks out Malavika, now a cancer patient & on her death bed, & brings her home.

3 friends - Rajendran (Raju), his cousin Prathapan (Mukesh), & Jnaneshwaran (Jagathi) - stumble upon a corpse near a creek. Afraid of the cops blaming them, they trick a boater, Kannan (T.G. Ravi), to transport the corpse, saying it was a drunk person. Kannan, learning the truth, buries it & runs away. Meanwhile, Rajendran's father Narayanan (Bahadur) is hellbent on getting him married to his friend's loony daughter Shanthi, while Rajendran tries to unite with his lover, Raji (Saleema).

Devanarayanan (Mohanlal), a Brahmin priest, gets framed & jailed for theft by Arumukhan (M.G. Soman) & his coterie. After his release, Devan goes to Mumbai where he grows in the Mumbai underworld, under Don Karim (Goga Kapoor). After a 2nd jail sentence, Devan gives up crime & with money given by Karim, returns to his home town in Kerala to regain his ancestral home. There, Devan finds his family in ruins. He teams up with his old pal & politician Karunan (Sreenivasan) to get back at Arumukhan.

Madhavan Nair (Thilakan), a cabby, & his wife Bharathi (Kaviyoor Ponnamma), have 4 children - Prasad (Manian Pillai Raju), Santhosh (Baiju), Urmila (Renuka) & Geetha (Urvashi). Being forced out of their rented house by their landlord Kikkili (Meena), Madhavan is forced to buy some land & build a house of their own. However, at the time of their need, all their ungrateful children & their spouses, except for Geetha, turn their backs on Madhavan & Bharathi, leaving them to fend for their own.

After the eccentric & genius filmmaker Siddharthan (Mohanlal) dies in mysterious circumstances, his son Aadi (Anoop Menon), returns years later from California to relive the memories of his father. After meeting with a few of Siddarthan's old friends, Aadi becomes convinced that his dad was killed, & that it was not a suicide as he had originally thought. Aadi sets out to unravel the mystery that was his father & to seek out his killer.

Karanan (Mammootty), a boater, gets jailed for 5 years for hacking some goons while protecting his pal Kumaran (Vincent). Upon his release, he returns to the harbor to find that Kumaran has taken his girl Madhavi (Menaka) & his boat & is a bigwig now. Karanan takes to boozing & petty smuggling, & later befriends 2 people whom he takes under his wings - a lassie Devayani (Seema) who ran away from her tart sister & pimp brother-in-law & Gopi (Mohanlal), a grad in search of the man who cheated him.

Malayala Shabdam daily, owned by the Ezhuthupura Veedu family whose matriarch is famous poetess Vishwalaksmi Thampuratti (Rohini Hattangadi), is in trouble with the newly appointed manager Anantharaman (Ratheesh) slowly arrogating it, using the real owner Rama Varma (Devan) as a puppet. Rama Varma's younger brother Ravi Varma aka Aniyan (Mohanlal) vows to win back the paper by hook or crook, & sets out to be rich with the help of ex-goon Pareed (Captain Raju) & takes to smuggling illicit liquor.

Two young men, 'Vaikundam' Shankar (Shankar) & 'Kailasam' Raju (Manian Pillai Raju), comes to rich businessman T.P. Bhaskaran Nair's (Adoor Bhasi) house in search of a job, with recommendation letters from Nair's lawyer & auditor. They initially get jobs at his factory, & later Shankar gets appointed as his driver. While the public & police blamed OMR for Maani's death, OMR comes to Kerala to find the truth & vindicate himself.

Orphaned Lal aka "Lalettan" (Mohanlal) is the senior most & respected student of a college, studying for his 3rd masters degree there. After his ex-flame & ex-classmate Gayathri joins the college as a lecturer, Lal's old feelings blossom again. When Devadattan is called upon by the villagers to do the great ritual of "Athirathram", to bring rain to the parched village, Somadattan ridicules it & challenges his father to give up his priestly life, if it doesn't rain.

When Nair gets wind of a plot by Kumar & another criminal James (Lalu Alex), to steal arms & ammunition from the SAT camp, he re-unites with his students, who were originally sent to kill him, to bust the operation & save the day.

Pavithran Nair aka Pavi (Mohanlal), a struggling road contractor & the black sheep of his family, is dwarfed by the success of his corrupt contractor brother & engineer brother-in-law. The new Municipal Commissioner turns out to be his ex-flame Radha (Shobana), from whom he had bitterly split in college. Pavi's small time duperies in the road work doesn't bode well with Radha, who forbids Pavi from any future work. Enraged, Pavi gets Radha framed for corruption. An abased Radha attempts suicide.

Liquor baron Anakkattil Eappachan (M.G. Soman) is killed by rivals Kadayadi brothers - Raghavan (N.F. Varghese), Baby (Sphadikam George) & Thampi (Subair) & the Kunnel family - Mathachan (Azeez) & sons Outhakkutty (Sathar) & Chandy (Sadiq), landing the burden of the Anakkattil business empire on son Jacob Stephen aka Anakkattil Chackochi (Suresh Gopi). Chackochi with his trusted aides Hussein (Siddique) & Ummachan (Manian Pillai Raju), tries to get to the bottom of his father's murder.

Ambady (Mohanlal), from the Thacholi warrior family of Kadathanadu, along with his father's old pal & guru Payyampalli Chanthu (Prem Nazir), retrieves the family heirloom Badra sword, which was stolen from them by the Kathiloor family & Kelu of Thulunaadu. But when Ambady also brings back Kelu's niece Sreedevi (Swapna), Chanthu's daughter Kunjulakshmi, who loved Ambady, takes it hard. Kathiloor family exploits the situation & poisons Kunjulakshmi, causing Chanthu to challenge Ambady for a duel.

Jeevan (Mohanlal), affectionately called Uncle by everyone, runs a restaurant & deals in smuggled foreign goods in the beaches of Kovalam. When two of his friends are double-crossed & killed by a foreigner Fabian Ramirez (Nick Mather) & Fabian's girlfriend commits suicide, Jeevan gets blamed for them all & gets time for 5 years. In prison, he sees Fabian again & promises to help Fabian escape. With vengeance in mind, Jeevan returns to prison with a 2 year sentence, having plotted the escape.

Manikantan (Kalabhavan Mani) takes up a job as a zookeeper to fulfill his uncle Kesavan's (Captain Raju) demand that he needs to procure a govt. job to be able to marry his daughter Anju. However, when a bear escapes from the zoo, Manikantan, with the help of makeup artist Sundaran Arpukara (Salu Kuttanadu) & coworker Suvasu (Jagathi), has to disguise himself as a bear & take the escaped bear's place. However, capturing the real bear proves knotty, extending Manikantan's stay in the zoo.

Mohammed Sarkar IPS (Suresh Gopi) is appointed by the government to investigate the shooting death of Rahim Haji (Narendra Prasad), a prominent community leader & ex-MP. Knowing that it was Rahim Haji's rival Narendra Shetty who was probably behind the murder, Sarkar investigates, but finds it difficult to procure solid evidence against Shetty. As Sarkar delves deeper, he discovers Shetty's involvement in illegal arms dealings & tries to expose him & break Shetty's empire.

Balagopalan (Mohanlal), a struggling office worker, takes a fancy to school teacher Anitha (Shobana) & to impress her parents, pawns his prized 8 cent of land to raise Rs. 10,000 for Anitha's litigation crazy dad (Balan K. Kuttan Pillai (Innocent), to get his son Vidyadharan (Manian Pillai Raju) married to wealthy Adithya Varma's (Prem Nazir) daughter Kaveri (Menaka), tries to block her planned wedding with Balu (Shankar), brother of Varma's next-door neighbor Sasidharan (Nedumudi Venu). Pillai plants seeds of suspicion in the minds of Varma, his wife Subhadra (Sukumari), Sasidharan & his wife Parvathi (Seema) that their respective spouses were having affairs with their neighbors of the opposite sex.

Ramamurthy (Prem Nazir), a mild middle aged Brahmin comes to Kannur to stay with Balu (Balachandra Menon), a medical rep, to try his luck in becoming one himself. Things doesn't go well for Ramamurthy, & just when he was about to give up, Sujatha (Jayabharati), a friendly doctor, comes to his aid & boosts his spirits. Ramamurthy becomes attracted towards Sujatha but kept it to himself. Sujatha's uncle (Thilakan), meanwhile, tries to get her married to his London-return son, Mohan (Lalu Alex).

Rameshan (Jayaram) & Jose (Mukesh), two educated but unemployed young men, burdened by the hardships of their families & the need to raise money for dowry to marry off their sisters, starts a marriage bureau with a lot of dreams & plans, but meets with scant success.

In this sequel to 'Kireedam (1989)', Sethumadhavan (Mohanlal) returns from prison after serving time for Keerikadan Jose's (Keerikkadan Jose) murder to find his mother (Kaviyoor Ponnamma) ill, his father Achuthan Nair (Thilakan) a drunkard & his younger sister Latha (Usha) working to support the family. Sethu tries to start anew, but Keerikadan Jose's brothers don't let go & seek revenge. Forced into a corner, Sethu fights back in desperation, in an attempt to survive.

Jayan (Mohanlal) veers away from his path of crime after seeing the plight of a poor boy, Unni (Kamal Roy), struggling to support his studies. Jayan befriends the group of college students of which Unni was a part of & tries to relive his lost youth. He also finds his long lost mother-like figure from his childhood, Janakiamma (Sukumari) & her daughter Nirmala (Menaka). However, when Nirmala's marriage life was to be threatened by his old associates, Jayan has to return to his old ways again.

Girly Mathew (Nadia Moidu), an effervescent girl from Delhi, comes to the town of Karamalloor to reunite with her grandmother, Kunjoonjamma (Padmini). Kunjoonjamma, living a secluded life, angry at Girly's father Mathews (K.P. Ummer) for having taken away her daughter Manikutty & her granddaughter, & blamed him for her daughter's death, refused to accept Girly at first, but Girly wins her over, & they soon become inseparable.

Petty thief Charls (Dileep), with pal Shobharaj (Jagathi Sreekumar) backing him up, agrees to woo millionaire Paulose's (Cochin Hanifa) daughter Anna & make her drop her plans of becoming a nun, to raise money for his mentally wrecked sister's surgery. By mistake, Charls woos the wrong girl (Suvalakshmi) & gets her out of the seminary. Once outside, Charls initially tries to give Anna the slip, but when he learns that her step-brother Bijoy (Shiju) & his cronies wanted her dead, sticks with her.

Omanakuttan (Shankar), the new bank manager in the village of Kinginikkara, gets into a fix when two salient local ladies, Maheswariyamma (Lakshmi) & Thankamani Kunjamma (Srividya), each believe he was in love with their daughter. Omanakuttan, who really only loved Thankamani's daughter Kavitha (Sabitha Anand), gets scared & runs away to Ooty where he meets a mysterious stranger who saves his life. Hearing Omanakuttan's plight, the stranger agrees to come back with Omanakuttan & clean things up.

Kunjappu (Prithviraj), a Muslim & an obsessed Mammootty fan, takes a fancy to a girl he sees at a wedding & tries to seek an alliance with her, but his uncle engages him to a different girl by mistake. The girl he liked turns out to be Sunanda Nair (Bhama), a Hindu, whose uncle Karunakaran Ezhuthachan (Thilakan) was trying to get her to marry his son Shashi (Nishanth Sagar). Sunanda, fearing for hers & her bedridden mother's (Ambika Mohan) life, seeks Kunjappu's help in escaping from her uncle.

Ravi Varma (Kunchako Boban), in desperate need to raise 15 lakhs to get his father Prabhakara Varma (Nedumudi Venu) out of a swindling case for which he was currently jailed, meets master conman Jerry Mathew (Jayasurya) & the two hatch a scheme to defraud NRI millionaire Emir Harish Rahman (Devan) by selling him a fake painting, supposedly painted by renowned painter Raja Ravi Varma. In the process, Jerry & Ravi starts outdoing & double-crossing each other to get the proceeds for oneself.

Sivankutty (Suraaj Venjarammoodu), neck deep in debt & without a job, accidentally switch places with his lookalike Jeevan Raj (Suraaj Venjarammoodu) after he tries to save Jeevan from an accident. Seeing that Jeevan was a millionaire, Sivankutty tries to stick on as Jeevan in Jeevan's house, with the intention of finagling enough money to pay off his debts. Jeevan, meanwhile gets stuck in Sivankutty's house.

Ramankutty (Jayaram), known for his spotless character in the village of Kuttanallur, gets disgraced & ostracized when he had to take on the blame for frequenting a known prostitute of the village, Dakshayani (Nirosha), to save his uncle Madhavan's (Jagathi Sreekumar) face. Madhavan, who had promised to clear Ramankutty's name in front of his daughter & Ramankutty's fiancé Sangeetha (Gayatri Jayaraman), goes back on his word, leaving Ramankutty on his own to clear his name.

Lathika, private tutor of millionaire K.P.R. Varma's (Ummer) brat Shankar Mohan (Sujith), gets close to Jagadish (Mammootty), Shankar's swimming coach, but Shankar's dislike for Jagadish forces them to hide their relationship. Lathika & Shankar goes for a holiday at a guest house & Jagadish follows suit without Shankar's knowledge. After 4 days of futile attempts, Jagadish finally meets with Lathika sneakily, but the next day Lathika is found dead. Inspector Mohan (Mohanlal) investigates.

Desperate for cash to marry off his sister Urmila (Sangeetha), music-loving, sports-loving Hariprasad (Jagadish) poses to be the exact opposite of his personality to work at G.G. Nayanar (Suresh Gopi) quits his job & moves to Calcutta to join politics after his bitter struggle to bring Prathapa Varma (Devan) of the Ilayidathu Palace, whom he suspected of the murder of Police Commissioner Maya Pillai (Vani Viswanathan), ended in Varma & his goons brutally assaulting & crippling Nayanar. Years later, Nayanar, nominated as the new Chief Minister of Kerala after the communists win the election, returns to seek his revenge.

Righteous cop Krishnakumar's (Mohanlal) sister Sheela (Rohini) is found raped & murdered & her husband Babu (Rahman) found brutally assaulted the day after their wedding, during their honeymoon. Krishnakumar tries to bring his sister Sheela's murderers to justice.

Mukundan Menon (Jayaram) is 'the married man', John (Jayasurya) is 'the Bachelor' & Rahul (Indrajith) is 'the married bachelor'. While the faithful Mukundan has a very suspicious Krishnendu (Bhavana) as his wife, playboy Rahul has a very trusting wife Shreya (Samvrutha Sunil). Trouble brews when Rahul decides to make Mukundan taste the forbidden fruit in the form of sultry siren Diana (Rima Kallingal), who walks right into the lives of them all, leading to chaos, craziness, commotion & crisis.

At the behest of Kerala Chief Minister Shekaran (Janardanan), DySP Ashok Nariman (Suresh Gopi) reopens the case of convicted double murderer Manu (Vijayakumar). Convinced that Manu was framed by some powerful figures including top criminal lawyer Padmanabhan Thampi (Siddique), Nariman builds a case against them, but it gets thrown out in court. Angry but not giving up, Nariman tries a different tactic by framing Thampi & his coterie in a fabricated case.

Harikrishnan (Suresh Gopi) investigates the immolation death of his younger brother Unnikrishnan (Vijayakumar) who was killed during a student demonstration. Harikrishnan finds the hand of politician G. Parameshwaran (Narendra Prasad), who used to be Unnikrishnan's godfather, behind the crime, but finds it difficult to bring him to justice due to Parameshwaran's connections & clout.

Ajayan (Mammootty), a rich businessman who rose to the top by ruthlessly mowing down everyone in his path, gets besotted with his new secretary Ambili (Supriya Pathak) & proposes marriage. However, when he learns that Ambili had a boyfriend, Ashok (Mukesh), Ajayan goes wild with rage & threatens to kill Ashok. On the day of their engagement, when Ashok goes missing, the blame falls on Ajayan.

Tea estate worker Ramankunju (Indrans) is forced to stand by the communist party, whom he held close to his heart, when the party announces a strike against the estate management, for higher wages. However, the initial glimmer of hope wears off, after the strike continues for several days, leaving Ramankunju's family in misery and starvation.

Kasinathan (Mohanlal), running a successful Ayurvedic resort with friends in politics & the police, returns to his native village of Midhilapuri after his altruist elder brother Swaminathan (Nedumudi Venu) is killed in an 'accident' fabricated by Kasinathan's old foe, ex-minister Shankar Das (Saikumar) & businessman Dasappa Gounder (Manoj K. Jayan), when Swaminathan opposed their plans to modernize Midhilapuri.

Gopalakrishnan (Jagadish), a popular paperboy from the Hindustan slums, becomes the Home Minister of Kerala in a political move by politico Kunjikannan Nambiar (Narendra Prasad). However, when after taking office, Gopalakrishnan fails to oblige Nambiar, Nambiar decides to take him out by engineering a communal unrest in the Hindustan slums & holding Gopalakrishnan responsible for failing to prevent it.

Hotshot lawyers Harikrishnan aka 'Hare' (Mammootty) & Harikrishnan aka 'Krishnan' (Mohanlal), at the behest of Hare's sister Ammalu (Shamili), takes up the case of defending a mute & deaf man, Gabriel (V.K. Sriraman), who was accused of killing a young college professor & poet Guptan (Rajiv Menon). However, when they meet Meera (Juhi Chawla), whom they first suspected to be Guptan's girlfriend, but who later turned out to be just a friend to Guptan, they also start competing to win her heart.

In the power struggle between the left-wing communist party led by Sivankutty (Manoj K. Jayan) & the coalition of right-wing parties led by P. Divakaran (Rizabawa), M.P. Rajappan (Narendra Prasad) & Marakkar Haji (Narayanan Nair), in the northern Kerala state of Kannur, Sivankutty loses his father & later, his brother Unnikrishnan (Sudheesh) in plots engineered by Divakaran & his coterie. In revenge, Sivankutty seeks their contract killer, Panniyannoor Dasan (Raghu).

Vishwanathan (Suresh Gopi), a business grad-turned-farmer, kills mobster Sudhakar Reddy (Ganesh Kumar) to avenge the death of his sister Revathi (Mathu). Vishwanathan is saved from Reddy's goons by Reddy's arch rival, gangster Patel (Devan), & sheltered in a brothel he runs. There, Vishwanathan saves damsel in distress, Gauri (Annie), & they both go on the run. Now, hunted by both Reddy's & Patel's goons & betrayed by the people they trusted, Vishwanathan & Gauri has to make it back to Kerala.

A deaf & dumb boy, Benny, witnesses two murders, including his own mother's, runs away & ends up in the hands of Kiran (Mammootty), who had been grieving his own family's loss an year ago & had taken to drinking. Kiran forms a deep bond with the boy, but meanwhile the killers had tracked the boy down & were on his tail.

Durgadathan (Babu Antony) returns to his birth place, from where he & his mother Kannamma (Srividya) were driven away years ago. There, at the Poomangalam palace, he meets Bharatha Varma (M.G. Soman) & his adopted daughter Gayathri (Charmila), who were living there like servants after being cheated out of all their riches by Varma's brother-in-law Rajadeva Varma (N.F. Varghese). Durgadathan gets protective towards Gayathri & later also learns that he is Bharatha Varma's illegitimate son.

Chirakkal Sreehari (Mohanlal) returns from Paris after a gap of 6 years to reunite with his friends & family. He had left home after being convicted & jailed for an year for a murder attempt he didn't commit, & after having lost his childhood sweetheart Indulekha (Meena) in the bargain. Sreehari's intentions were to relive his old days with his friends & to clear his name before Indulekha & her disabled husband Balachandran (Murali Menon).

Village simple Kocherukkan (Jayasurya) elopes with his childhood sweetie Malli (Mythili), a maid at the house of wealthy Chandrasekhara Vazhunnor (Saikumar), & they stay with their pal Murugan (Sudheesh) to eke out a living. However, cop Kumaranesan (Siddique) who had lost an eye trying to stop their elopement, catches up with them & arrests Kocherukkan for a bunch of fabricated crimes. Eager to see Malli, Kocherukkan breaks out of jail, only to become more wanted in the eyes of the law.

Nandakumar (Mohanlal), a clever cop from the Vigilance & Anti-Corruption bureau, takes on the disguise of a commoner to corner a corrupt, but equally shrewd government official - Assistant Town Planning Officer Gopi Krishnan (Sreenivasan), but gets the tables turned on him. Meanwhile, his personal life gets messed up when his estranged wife Meera (Sameera Reddy), approaches the court for custody of their daughter.

60 years after a lass of the Aalathoor Thekkemadam manor, Kuttimani (Kumari Joemol), was putatively killed by her jealous lover Krishnanunni (Kunchako Boban), & after which he was hanged, the current patriarch, Valiyathan (Thilakan), looks to restart a defunct religious rite. However, things get edgy after it started to seem like the old lovers have reincarnated as Gayathri (Kumari Joemol), a young girl of the current generation & Manu (Kunchako Boban), the caretaker's son, & they fall in love.

Kaveri (Pramila), who runs a tea stall in a remote village seeks out a new lover in vagabond hunter Maruthu (Nedumudi Venu) to accept the paternity of her illicit pregnancy. Meanwhile, a circus comes to the village & Maruthu finds a job there, after he gets enamored with Sundari (Suchitra), the lead female acrobat of the troupe, irking Kaveri. In the forests of Wayanad, Puthenpurackal Chackochan (Madhu), a poor laborer, becomes rich after cheating his friend Paili (T.G. Ravi) out of a land deal. Years later, Chackochan gets no peace of mind in his old age, as his sons constantly scrap over money & his illicit son Varghese (Mammootty), whom Chackochan had never publicly acknowledged, is jailed for murder. Varghese returns after his sentence & tries to repossess his land, now under Chackochan's other son Mathukutty's (Ratheesh) control.

Ananthapadmanabhan aka Ananthan (Mammootty), a fiercely idealistic doctor, testifies against a wealthy criminal, Idicula Abraham (Devan), who gets out of jail after 7.5 years, vowing to make Ananthan's life hell. Jayaraman (Jayasurya) loses his job in Dubai & returns home to Kerala posing as the winner of a 50 crore lottery, to much adulation of his family & friends, each of them wanting a cut. Jayaraman gets caught in a trap of a group of people wanting to get their hands on Jayaraman's village of Gopalapuram for a chemical factory, who use him as a pawn in their plans. Jayaraman fights back with the help of Meera (Ananya), a social activist, who had earlier seen through Jayaraman's lottery charade.

Shiva Subramaniam (Manian Pillai Raju), a Brahmin youth, ordained to take up priesthood at his family temple at the age of 21, is smitten with Rohini (Lizy), the actress of a local drama troupe run by Keerikkadu Chellappan Pillai (Nedumudi Venu). To get close to Rohini, Subramaniam joins the troupe & pretends to be rich. When the coastal area of Poomanam goes up in blaze in a communal riot, leaving 8 dead, Home Minister of Kerala, Abdul Rahim (Murali) summons the hotheaded ex-cop Amarnath (Mammootty) from retirement to clean up Poomanam & to bring the perpetrators to justice. Amarnath discovers the hands of powerful men, including an underworld don & a cabinet minister behind the Poomanam issue, but faces stiff resistance from the political & police circles in trying to book them.

Movie aficionado Manikunju (Indrajith) comes to Chennai looking for a job in the film industry. At Gemini Labs, he discovers the old print of a film that his dad had directed 35 years back, which was never released. Manikunju watches it, which tells the story of Ravi (Dileep) & Sulekha (Kavya Madhavan), who fall in love against all odds. Later, Manikunju learns that the actors who had played the roles, Shajahan & Mary Varghese, were in love as well, & had eloped into obscurity after the shoot.

Manjula transforms from a villager to a pop icon on-screen, while a ruthless channel CEO Ravi (Siddique) & senior producer Thomas Joseph (Baburaj) manipulates her life to keep the show's rating high.

'Human Tiger Force', a terrorist group, takes refuge in the Bison Valley forest of Idukki, Kerala, to launch attacks against Indian targets. Heading the group was Nitin Josh (Madhupal), a Malayalee, who also had his wife Chandini (Anusha) & young son Shinaz living in the nearby village as civilians. Sebastian (Siddique), a cop on duty to catch the terrorists is killed by them, along with his family, causing for Shyam Mohan (Suresh Gopi), a central intelligence officer, to take up the cause.

Raja (Mammootty) & Kari (Lal) are fraternal twins who often evoke disbelief because of Raja being fair & Kari being dark, with Kari himself always suspecting that they got swapped at birth. They buy the house of John Samuel (Lalu Alex) & woo his daughters Annie (Kanika) & Sherly (Padmapriya). Brothers Isaac (Babu Antony) & Albert, who were after the sisters & Samuel's hospital cause frequent woes for them & Samuel decides to settle the matter with a boxing match between Raja-Kari & Isaac-Albert.

Seetha (Kaveri), a young servant girl is found raped & murdered in a pond, & Unni Thampuran (Manian Pillai Raju), the girl's employer, is arrested & charged. Ace lawyer Kuruvila Aniyan Kuruvila (Mammootty) appears for the accused, but Unni is declared guilty & given a life sentence after the prosecution comes up with a fake witness. Although dejected, Kuruvila tries to reopen the case after finding that the case officer SP Sugunapalan (Rajan P. Dev) had helped the real culprits by framing Unni.

Koodiyattam artist Aravinda Chakyar (Jayaram) finally meets his dream girl in Ashwathy, a Nangyar Koothu artist, but their weddings get disrupted at the last minute due to various reasons, the latest being a photo linking Chakyar to Hemalatha (Radhika), a member of Chakyar's wedding party. Unbeknownst to all, Hemalatha is actually Sridevi & hides a deadly secret - a bomb she is being forced to carry by a group of terrorists, by holding her father, Police Commissioner Rajasekaran, as a hostage.

Kesavan Kutty (Sreenivasan), a contractor who was in charge of building 3 houses in Ernakulam for Georgekutty (Murali), an expat in the US, is forced to rent them out without Georgekutty's knowledge, to raise some cash to repay a debt, & chaos ensue after the tenants from different cultural backgrounds clash with each other. Then Georgekutty unexpectedly plans a visit & Kesavan Kutty is forced to try & get the tenants to leave on short notice.

Four ex-convicts - Aliyar (Thilakan), Ramayyan (Raghu), Hamsa (Babu Antony) & Antony (Mammootty) - serve life sentences & come out with the intention of murdering Haridas (Vishnuvardhan) & his 3 daughters, the ex-cop who was responsible for their arrests & the death of their families. They finally get to Haridas, but when he reveals on his deathbed that one of his 3 children was actually Antony's daughter, Antony is forced to turn against his friends to protect the girls.

Faizal (Dulquer Salmaan), the only son of a rich businessman, Abdul Razak (Siddique), studies a chef's course in Switzerland against Razak's wishes. As the relation between father & son breaks, Faizal goes in search of his grandfather, Karim (Thilakan), who ran a restaurant, "Ustad Hotel', in Kozhikode. A strong bond develops between Karim & Faizal, & Faizal staves off a takeover of the hotel by the owner (Jinu Joseph) of a rich 5 star hotel nearby.

Over the period that he lives in Dubai and in Kerala, Dr Arjun's life gets completely intertwined by the three women who enter his life. Nimmy feels a closeness to Raju, but their friendship doesn't bode well with Menon's son & Nimmy's beau Vinod (Suresh Gopi), who tries to keep them apart.

3 medicos - Satheesh (Ramu), Venu (Shankar) & Jacob (Manian Pillai Raju) - plan a bet to cure Venu of his cowardice. The other two would put a ring on the finger of one of the corpses in the medical college mortuary, which Venu will have to retrieve at the night. However, things go terribly wrong when Venu is found dead the next day & Satheesh is accused of killing him & jailed. Satheesh's mother judge Lekshmi Menon (Srividya) seeks the help of lawyer Krishnadas (Madhu) to free Satheesh.

Nandagopal (Mohanlal), who runs a fast food joint, Nandu's Food Court, in Kochi, moonlights as a vigilante called 'Lokpal' (Peoples' Protector) to expose the corruption of politicians, cops & government workers. Usually going after illicit money accumulated through bribes, Nandagopal steals the money & distributes it to the poor & deserved.

Struggling singer Venugopal (Mukesh) falls in love with rich girl Lakshmi (Geetha Vijayan), but faces stiff opposition from her father Sreedhara Panickar (Innocent) who had his own plans of marrying Lakshmi off to his business partner's son. Venugopal, with help from his pals, devises a plot to fake his death at the hands of Panickar & then makes a reentry as his own twin brother who was a CBI officer. The plan was to scare Panickar into thinking he was a murderer & then blackmail him with it.

Struggling contractor Dinesh Kondody (Jayasurya) sells a house he partially owned to Paramu Nair (Narendra Prasad) to get cash for his share & ease his financial woes, but a resurvey of the land leaves half of the house in Kerala & the other half in Tamil Nadu. The part in Tamil Nadu comes under the ownership of Peria Thevar (Thalaivasal Vijay) & his niece Sundari (Girly) starts living in that part of the house. Dinesh starts living in the other side & soon they are scheming to evict each other.

55-year old Michael (Prathap K. Pothan), who had been settled abroad for the past 30 years, comes to Kerala for a vacation & looks up his 4 highschool friends - Antony Gonsalves (Babu Antony), Madan Mohan (Manian Pillai Raju), K.C. Deepu (Jayaram) is the pet & indispensable brother of his 5 sisters. After a long & hard search for a bride for Deepu, they all settle on Priya (Samyuktha Varma) & the wedding is conducted with pomp. However Deepu was in for a shock when he learns that Priya was mentally ill. Refusing to leave Priya, & against his family's will, Deepu takes Priya to a mental institution run by an unorthodox doctor (Lalu Alex), to cure her illness.

Luke John Prakash (Sekhar Menon) is an obese young man who has always been the object of ridicule since childhood. When his childhood sweetheart Ann Marie (Ann Augustine) returns to his life, he is smitten, but she dupes Luke into joining an Ayurveda weight-loss scam run by Rahul (Nivin Pauly), of which she too was a part of. When Luke learns the truth, he channels his anger by running for the Mayor of Kochi & wins. Later, Ann comes clean & provides testimony using which Luke takes down Rahul.

Reena (Malavika Nair), a young servant girl has been disfigured in an acid attack, & in the ensuing investigation by the cops, two key figures are interrogated - one is Benny (Mithun Murali), an employee at a neighborhood gas station who was in love with Reena, & the other, Aarthi (Samskruthy Shenoy), a schoolgirl & Reena's employers' daughter. Both interrogations tell parallel stories which lead up to unraveling the reasons behind the attack on Reena.

After influential eco-warrior Prof. Madhava Menon (Sukumaran) tries to expose the looting of forest resources by opposition leader K.R. Sreedharan (Ratheesh), he is shot & narrowly escapes death. Menon's followers recruit Colonel Varma (Jagathi), who runs a security firm, to protect Menon. Varma deploys 4 young men from his team - Sivashankaran (Vijayaraghavan), Punnoos (Baiju), Razak (Raju) & Mahendran (Keerikkadan Jose) - for this purpose, who later also identify with Menon's cause & join him.

Darshan Das & Wilson Morais (Rajan P. Dev) are former friends turned rivals in the textile industry. Das gets a leg up when her US-educated daughter Priyadarshini takes over the reins of his business. After seeing that he was losing the battle, Morais tries to endanger Priyadarshini. Gautham Vishwanath (Suresh Gopi) is appointed as her new bodyguard, but Gautham had ulterior motives besides just protecting Priyadarshini - to avenge the death of his family at the hands of Morais 20 years ago.

Jayanthan Namboothiri (Maniyanpilla Raju), a 43-year old Hindu Brahmin priest who was living a dejected life because he was not able to get a bride, finally strikes gold when 18-year old Sanmaya (Tanushree Raghuram) says yes to him. They get the death sentence, but when Pouran learns that they are innocent, he tries to save them, but soon learns that the political machinery has no interest in freeing them.

Hotheaded C.I. Chandrachoodan (Suresh Gopi) targets international terrorist Musharraf Ibrahim (Hemant Ravan) & has to lock horns with Balasubramaniam (Siddique), Ibrahim's powerful partner, in addition to Ibrahim. Chandrachoodan has to pay a heavy price for his patriotism as Ibrahim & Balasubramaniam devastates Chandrachoodan's foster family consisting of his father-figure & communist leader Ahmad Basheer (Balachandra Menon) & Basheer's wife Sharada (Mini Nair).

Police constables Balagopal (Sreejith Ravi) & Jolly Kurian (Joju George), who hate each other, are ordered to transfer 2 prisoners from Kannur to Trivandrum. They board the train with the handcuffed inmates, but at the Kayamkulam station, prisoner Nandu (Vineeth Sreenivasan) escapes. They get off the train at the next stop with the 2nd inmate Maaran (Chemban Vinod Jose) & frantically searches for Nandu. The 3 unlikely musketeers band together to dig up Nandu's story to see why he escaped.

In the Trichur town of Wadakkancherry, do-gooder Vasoottan (Kunchacko Boban), an auto-driver, gets trapped into helping the family of the woman, Parvathi (Gayathri Suresh), he had a crush on. The task - to deliver 100 goats of the rare breed 'Jamna Pyari'. Without the goats, Parvathi's family farm house business was facing certain bankruptcy.

Durgaprasad (Mammootty) & his wife Sheetal (Mansi Sharma), migrants from the state of Jharkhand & living in Kochi, try to make ends meet in the big city. When Sheetal goes into labor & the govt. hospital doctors go on a strike, Durgaprasad is forced to take her to a private hospital where they demand a hefty sum for a C-section. Forced to accept money from a terrorist for the C-section, Durgaprasad tries to make amends by foiling their plot to conduct blasts in several parts of the city.

Jayadevan Chungathara (Jayaram), a hit writer of Malayalam soap operas, is forced to marry his biggest fan, Pushpavalli (Rimi Tomy), after she attempts suicide when Jayadevan snubs her. Jayadevan was in for a shock however, when he sees Pushpavalli spend all of her evenings watching Jayadevan's soaps on TV, leaving no time for him. On the professional front, Jayadevan falls out with his long-time producer buddy Vijay Anand (Anoop Menon), & vows to create the next best show without Vijay's help.

Two chronic alcoholics - 'Paampu' Joy (Prithviraj) & 'Paavada' Babu (Anoop Menon) - meet at a rehab where they realize they had a shared past. Joy's mother Sicily (Asha Sharath) was the heroine of a movie called 'Paavada' which Babu had produced several year ago. However, the movie didn't turn out to be what Babu & Sicily intended, as it was altered by assistant director Eldho Kunnanthanam (Kalabhavan Shajohn). Now Eldho is planning for a re-release of the movie which Joy & Babu tries to stop.

Raghu (Biju Menon), a married middle-aged cop, still pines for his childhood flame Anuradha, & is gruff towards his son Abhi (Asif Ali) & wife Suma (Asha Sharath). Abhi meanwhile, dumps his girlfriend Elizabeth aka Eli (Rajisha Vijayan), but watches with jealousy as his friend dates Eli. Raghu then starts talking to Eli on the phone mistaking her for Anuradha, but the relationship softens Raghu's behavior at home. Finally, on the day of Eli's wedding, Abhi decides he wants her back.

Ex-railway sportswoman Vandana (Manju Warrier) is married to volleyball coach Aby (Anoop Menon), who manages a team called the 'Karinkunnam 6's'. Aby finds sponsors for his dream venture, a volleyball league, but an altercation with a team member leaves him paralyzed & his own team members jump ship shortly afterwards. Forced to take up the mantle, Vandana forms a new volleyball team with a ragtag group of convicted prisoners and attempts to train them to win the league.

Ayyappa Das (Rudraksh Sudheesh) is a small-village boy whose biggest dream in life is to fly in an airplane. After hearing the village do-gooder Kochavva (Kunchacko Boban) speak about competitive swimmers being able to attend international tournaments in an airplane, Ayyappa takes up swimming & gets very good at it. Seeing his potential, Kochavva, who was also Ayyappa's coach, tries to get him enrolled in a prestigious swimming training program happening abroad.

A series of murders of a group of friends who were in college together, causes for the cops & reporter Amala (Jewel Mary) to reopen a double murder which happened with the same group back in college, & after which Zachariah Pothan (Dhyan Sreenivasan), the most volatile one of the group had gone missing. The cops had long suspected that Zachariah had committed the double murder & absconded, & now it appeared that Zachariah was back & was killing off the rest of his friends.

Aji Mathew, a lovable courageous and modest youngster, who hails from Pala. He meets an NRI girl Sara in his college, they fall in love regardless of their upbringing. Their moments of love did endure less, so does his happiness. (imdb)

Yakoob (Alencier) owns a small movie theater in the village called 'Kanyaka Talkies' that mostly plays soft-porn films. A series of personal tragedies force him to hand over the property to the church & leave the village. The building is converted to a church with a young priest, Michael (Murali Gopy), as its vicar. However, soon after taking charge, Michael starts hearing bizarre, disturbing noises resembling movie dialogs, from the building, & its disreputable past begins to bother him.

Rajakumaran (Mammootty), a middle-aged talented teacher & also a trainer for other teaching staff, has a bad name for himself when it comes to women, for no fault of his own, which makes him afraid to get into relationships. Two different girls, the older Manjari (Asha Sharath) & the younger Manjima (Deepti Sati) enter into his life & he is torn between them, & confused about whom to choose.
