Captain America: Brave New World (2025) - Rated 01 Mar 2025
"I enjoyed this movie because it adds more depth to Anthony Mackie's Captain America. However, the plot feels convenient at best: Red Hulk is wasted (as opposed to comics where you'd need literal earth shattering strength to beat him) and the villain of the movie is forgettable. Not a bad movie if you only consider the character growth of Cap and the introduction of a new Falcon."

Kill (2023) - Rated 02 Oct 2024
"Basically John Wick but without godlike plot armor. The first 45 minutes are a setup for the remaining hour and it captivated me enough to not become angry at it. Overall good action movie and really refreshing when you come with a westerner point of view about action flicks. Be aware that the movie may be tad too gratuitous with the violence."

Pathaan (2023) - Rated 03 Aug 2024
"The movie doesn't stands out from its plot, it's the classic "i'm an ancient secret agent and i'm going to take revenge on my former employer". However I enjoyed the over the top action and it's honestly refreshing to see action movies that aren't produced by Hollywood."

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) - Rated 03 Aug 2024
"As the title says, the conclusion of an epic tale. Whilst the first movie spent more time about setting up the lore, this movie spends more time with action scenes. I loved it."

Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) - Rated 03 Aug 2024
"The first part of an epic tale, both parts are quite long and this first part spends a lot of time setting up the plot. It's not a bad thing, I've enjoyed it."

RRR (2022) - Rated 03 Aug 2024
"A bit too much patriotic to me but it didn't prevent me to enjoy the whole three hours. Movies scenes are joyful and well choregraphed. It feels refreshing to have a pure male friendship depicted in an action movie."

Oppenheimer (2023) - Rated 03 Aug 2024
"Cillian Murphy kills it in his role of Oppenheimer. I was a bit fazed by the parallel stories (one in the "present" when Oppenheimer's security clearance is revoked and one in the past that recalls the story of the Manhattan Project). However both stories converge seamlessly. I'd say that 50% of my enjoyment of this movie came from Zimmer's soundtrack. An absolute blast."

Barbie (2023) - Rated 03 Aug 2024
"It's a fine movie, it's a fun movie, it's a movie. It passes as a feminist movie but honestly it's just some washed up pop feminism that adds nothing much to the existing movies & tv shows that talk about the role of women in society. I'd say that what saved the movie for me was Margot Robbie who's talent carried the whole movie."

Civil War (2024) - Rated 03 Aug 2024
"I’m part of the crowd that was misled by the trailer about a modern US civil war. In fact, it’s a movie about journalists and their work. Although I was disappointed by the story because of what I thought I was walking into, I cannot rate it poorly—it would be dishonest. The movie effectively immerses you in a state of constant fear, as if you’re part of a crew that might be murdered at any moment. It’s truly terrifying."
