Fargo (1996) - Rated 12 Aug 2017

Good elements but this film is way overrated. It ultimately fails to pull in a coherent direction and lacks a worthwhile message.

The Big Lebowski (1998) - Rated 12 Aug 2017

Probably the best film of 1998. A perfect metaphor for what a smart working class person goes through trying to make his way in a town full of the rich, ambitious, dumb, and insane.

Kill Bill: Volume 2 (2004) - Rated 12 Aug 2017

One of the greatest achievements in modern cinematic style and whimsical fantasy. It's a shame Tarantino has only made each movie worse than the last since this (written after the Hateful Eight, worst one yet. I hope by the time you read this he's redeemed himself). This was the last good one.
