Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019) - Rated 11 Jul 2019
did i tell you that my wife pretended to blip? yeah, she ran away with a guy from her hiking group.

The Hateful Eight (2015) - Rated 11 Jul 2019
considering solely the performances of russell, leigh, goggins, and jackson, this film is a marvel to behold. i'll watch the scene where daisy, covered in blood and nearly toothless, smiles at jody a thousand more times and still laugh myself silly.

Avengers: Endgame (2019) - Rated 11 Jul 2019
not nearly as thoroughly structured or emotionally visceral as part one, but thor plays fortnite so...

Top Secret! (1984) - Rated 12 Mar 2019
the bits that work (omg, the car thing) are painfully hilarious, on-par with the jokes in airplane and the naked gun series. the film suffers when regarded as a whole narrative, however.

The Boy (2016) - Rated 23 Feb 2019
if you can appreciate the fact something like this was even made, you'll enjoy the 3 or 4 memorable bits in here. ridiculously shameless lol

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) - Rated 23 Feb 2019
gobs of fun/humor, visually impressive, & cast nearly perfectly ...i hope this encourages studios to take more risks with mainstream audiences. these directors loved mamoru hosoda's summer wars and all other anime lol

Nobody Speak: Trials of the Free Press (2017) - Rated 23 Feb 2019
the first half is informative, provocative, & quite enjoyable, but even then you can begin to feel the creeping of a lack of focus and an inflated central thesis. learned a lot about hogan–– yikes.

Heroin(e) (2017) - Rated 16 Feb 2019
barebones (by choice) and strikingly explicit–– a cry for help more than a film

Get Me Roger Stone (2017) - Rated 16 Feb 2019
the first 75% is filled with interesting realities of an even more interesting political/media system. stone, unarguably, brings a lot of charm and sharpness to more ridiculous perspectives, so it's nice to give the loon a podium from which to speak. awesome informative content, its central drive just loses steam in the latter half.
