65 61% | The Gray Man (2022) - Rated 27 Jul 2022
"It was a bit long but enjoyable. Likeable and fun heroes, some nice action scenes, and fun one-liners. However it falls short in story and the ending felt a bit flat and unsatisfactory with a "twist" that added 20 minutes of runtime that could have been left out completely. Also, a bit too many sweeping drone shots..."

"Surprisingly good. I didn't expect it to be quite that entertaining. Really liked the message questioning accepted history."

70 68% | A Mighty Wind (2003) - Rated 07 Jul 2022
"This was surprisingly entertaining. Lots of innuendos, lots of oh-shoot-that's-so-and-so moments, lots of laughs. Also had a beautiful 90ies vibe to it still."

"A stern reminder about the fragility of democracy and the role the press plays in conserving it."

"Overall it was an entertaining show. The story was engaging and the characters entertaining. Though it felt at times like the show was trying to take itself too seriously."

90 92% | Stranger Things (2016) - Rated 03 Jul 2022
"Defintely one of the best shows regardless of genre in recent years. While seasons 2 and 3 are somewhat ho-hum in many aspects, the first and fourth season are truly great. Even though the episodes seem to get longer and loger as the show goes on."

5 2% | Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022) - Rated 03 Jul 2022
"Did not make it 25 minutes before throwing in the towel. Not only was the story not compelling, the over-reliance on every scene being so overwhelmingly post-processed combined with the everything being a bit too dark made it truly unwatchable."

70 68% | The Batman (2022) - Rated 29 May 2022
"The movie itself as a whole is enjoyable. Personally, it is definitely not my favorite depiction of Batman. This one feels more human, more complex, and more... broken. In a way, the complexity (of all the characters) makes the storyline more relatable. However it gets in the way of the escapism I was seeking when I watched the movie. I did not want reality, I have enough of it at home.... The movie is also a bit too long/slow. I appreciate setting scenes, but come on!"
