You go have your romantic meeting with the hot Kardashian, invite Einstein for dinner or ask Jesus Christ any question about this world or the next. I just want to hang out with James Gunn in a basement somewhere, drink beer and listen to music. Every single cast member of 'Peacemaker' is welcome too.

Who knew being wacky entertaining was a good direction for comic book series.

Two and a half episodes in and I think I've had enough. I already thought Cena was the weak link in The Suicide Squad, and this just confirms it. I don't think he's very funny and I don't buy him at all in the dramatic scenes. But also, Gunn's writing is just not in top form here. Every joke goes on for way too long and rambles like bad improv. At least half the jokes are complete misses, and the rest aren't anything great. There's no tightness here, with everything drawn out as much as possible

A show that tried way too hard but mostly fell short as most of the humor fell flat.

Like the suicide squad, i see the absurdity of the dialogues and situations, but I find most of it just weird instead of funny.

This is waaay too much John Cena for me to handle. I forced myself to finish the first season. And played 2nd season in background.

That this and 'The Suicide Squad' is hands down the best things in the DC Extended Universe (or wait, does 'The Batman' count?) says next to nothing, but both were really nice surprises for me. It's a super entertaining romp, and the energetic cast makes their fun characters shine. Gunn is on a roll.

This has been a REALLY enjoyable watch 4 episodes in. James Gunn has managed to do the best world building and redemption arks in the DCEU. with two properties. Will continue to watch. EDIT - finished and loved it. One of the better new shows of the last few years.E EDIT - 6 episodes into the 2nd season and this IS one of the better shows on television. Its rarely lazy and goes for the most extra ridiculous options, which I can appreciate. I get , its not for everyone, but its definitely for me

People who dislike this objectively have no taste. You don't have to love it, I didn't love it tbh, but it's impossible to dislike.
