Mostly Game of Smaug but some of it was decent. Did I say decent? I meant The Descent.

Ugh, another movie made 25 years too late. Even it's internal logic is not consistent. The dragon could have killed the royal family any time, why bother for its measely offers.

W3E1P1S0V1M1A1R1. Not great, but not as bad as some of the reviews say. But if you haven't yet, DON'T WATCH THE TRAILERS on Netflix. Way too much told in there relative to what's left untold. In the end, a pretty run of the mill fantasy flick, with a female-driven bent, and at least Millie gives a decent effort.

It knows what it is and does what it says on the tin. Occasionally plays with tropes in interesting ways, occasionally things happen that don't really make sense, and in the end you get something entirely acceptable.

Tagline says: “This isn’t your typical fairytale” Pray tell, Hollywood, when was the last time we had a male protagonist that saved a damsel in distress? 30 years ago? It’s laughable that audiences are STILL being gaslit into thinking that any given upcoming movie project is the FIRST OF ITS KIND to promote female empowerment when that’s the only kind of movies we have anymore. That being said, this was an entertaining watch. MBB sold the physical discomfort and there’s some grueling imagery.

Started woke, ended woke; in between it was not that bad. A little bit of Game of Thrones a little bit of Smaug but too edgy

Although this definitely has its share of problems, it was still a pleasant surprise. I was fully expecting it to be another run-of-the-mill Netflix family film with bad CGI, and it was surprising to see that it mostly takes place in one location. Millie Bobby Brown is not that convincing as the badass heroine, but still carries the film for long periods. The cave and the dragon are well made and during its best scenes, the film has a nice 80's sword and sorcery vibe.

Mostly kind of a high fantasy take on The Descent largely set in a cave with a heavy dose of the grrl power; it’s hard for anything dragon centric to bore me tho

The story has a few problems, but the acting was terrific. I really enjoyed Millie Bobby Brown in this. She was quite good. There is a lot of CGI, and some of it was quite overdone. They did a great job of keeping the action going, and making the plot interesting. I recommend this, but it's not for everyone.

Ejderha'nın intikamı. Çok uzak diyarlarda, borca batmış 1 krallık, çok ilginç 1 teklif gelir. Başka 1 krallıktan, prensesiyle evlenilmesini ister. Allah allah diyen kızımız, prensini görmeye gider. Ejderha'nın tuzağına düşer. Düşer ama bacağını kırmaz. CGI eh. Ejderha iyi. Shohreh Aghdashloo çok iyi. 1 ejderha olmuş. Ben öyküyü de sevdim. Hatta uzun süresi çok yorucu gelmedi. Şans verilir. Filmin sonunda, kaynana ölüyor. Ben ejderhamı böyle eğitirim. O kadar.

Dude, this film was really great, if you like awful acting, a couple of famous faces and a whole lotta CGI. All in all, a massive waste of time.

As always, writers did a bad job sympathizing with main character. I disliked her at beginning (how she talks back at parents, how she puts down her marriage, how naive she is..) and then had to watch her trying to survive rest of the movie.

While you can sense the shortcuts in the adventure as a whole, the focus surrounding Millie Bobby Brown and her adventures looks and feels satisfying. If only they'd managed to deliver the same magic to the world surrounding her instead of claustrophobically only zooming in on her, the film could have been a real thrill.

The costumes & world design are quite good; unfortunately Damsel is marred by an intolerable Brown, who as both actor & executive producer has decided to make unbelievable shouty feminism her characters' brand. It's ironic that she rose to fame in a mostly silent role, yet here every sound she makes (dialogue or not) is cringe-worthy. Her character development is pitiful as it focuses solely on portraying a "badass" female rather than an actual arc. So much wasted potential for a fun film.

This is a very limited film. MBB carries the film through its mediocrity and does pretty well. I didn’t hate it.

Half the film is expositional twaddle, slow moving and vapid setup. Second half is equally pointless and even more stupid. Strangely terrible performances from great actors doing weird melodramatic voices.

Son zamanlarda izlediğim en iyilerden. Hiç düşmeyen tempo kusursuz görsel efektler özgün sayılabilecek bir konu kısaca keyifle izleniyor.
