"I have a soft spot for this film honestly, just because of how *gay* it is. This is genuinely gayer than a lot of "queer" media now. a significant chunk of the movie is just sweaty men waggling eyebrows at eachother from inches away, and hard-ons are mentioned multiple times. It was regarded this way on its release as well, and i feel like its historically significant for that."
