"Amazing story and great acting - only flaw is the action packed ending *spoilers* over the top chase scene and the nonsensical part where the a soviet official admits to receiving a bribe in front of a large group of people, for no reason."

"The film goes out of its way to avoid discussing Napoleons military conquest of most of Europe. Focusing on his personal life could a fresh an interesting take. However, the writers it failed . The (soon to be) members of the Congress of Vienna are central characters in the story. However, Napoleons relationship with each of them, as well as their mutual interests and conflicts are not discussed. The result is a film where central characters motivations are opaque, and arbitrary."
