Fixed all the issues of the first movie, finally the villains are communists instead of over used nazis (most likely this only was allowed to happen cause of the Ukraine war), there's actually some reason why we should care about the hero and villain is someone who he has beef with and someone who actually is on equal level instead of generic bad guy

I admit when this came to theaters it was the best theater experience I've had, having grew up with star wars and to finally see one on big screen felt like a dream. But Last Jedi was so bad it ruined this, not to mention that looking back this does feel very cheap with rehearsed plot, focusing on new characters we do not care when it was supposed to be about the old trio.

This was just Ryan Johnson using Star Wars as a brand to promote his politics rather than making a Star Wars movie. This movie literally killed Star Wars, it as franchise has not recovered from this even after 10 years

It's literally really dull soap opera for almost two hours with it turning into full on torture porn at the end. How this movie gets hailed often as best J-Horror is beyond me, movies like this make me honestly believe that critics care more about gimmicks than actual film making

Doctor Sleep (2019) - Rated 19 May 2026

Has a lot of good things in it, my main issue however is that it has none of the scare factor as at times it feels like a superhero movie, the female villain was someone I want to wrestle not someone to be feared, it tries to make you symphatize with literal child targeting psychic vampires which is just odd, the movie's finale is a huge nostalgia dump referencing a lot better movie, it felt odd watching someone else pretend to be Jack Nicholson and this is clearly more King movie than Kubrick

Has all the gore of Mortal Kombat without any of the fun, not to mention the gore doesn't really shock you since its again CGI. This movie mainly failed cause they used the new games as the model instead of the old ones. The 90s Mortal Kombat is still way superior
