Surprisingly good. I think that the movie was well written with all almost no loose ends. Some of the science was questionable but that's universally true for all sci fi movies. As a space survival movie, I enjoyed it quite a bit and was totally satisfied with the rental.

awful. Couldn't stand large chunks of the movie. About halfway through, I started to enjoy the story line and then it just kinda fell flat. Animation is still fun to watch but I ultimately had a hard time sitting still for the whole movie

Transformers (2007) - Rated 23 Aug 2009

Loved the movie... I think they did an amazing job bringing my old childhood cartoon to live action/CGI. A little disappointed by the some of the changes to the original but that was overshadowed by the great fight scenes and sheer coolness of the transformers themselves.

Very slow movie but very well done. For all the potential political incorrectness, it was handled very well.

A good re-invention of the series. My score is influenced by the fact that I wasn't expecting much at all.
