"I was looking forward to a show with an explicitly autistic main character but unfortunately I found it unwatchable. The actors were fighting for their lives trying to make the script believable, and failing. The show is best consumed as clips on YouTube."

"Possibly one of the best shows I've ever seen. Brilliantly creative, gripping, hilarious, and moving. Every episode had me wondering how they were going to top and/or resolve the latest development, yet they always did and left me delighted and/or satisfied. Big praise for handling the topics of AI and religion/spirituality in a way that feels real and human. It's the kind of show I look forward to introducing others to."

"I felt like I learned something about myself and human nature watching Fleabag and also need to recover. Brilliant writing and acting, Olivia Colman plays the wicked stepmother so well. Comedic, tragic, uncomfortable, and oddly actually sexy at times. I felt the range of human emotions including physically cringing at most episodes. Flawed and painfully relatable characters and relationships, particularly the sister relationship. Innovative use of breaking the 4th wall."

"This show provides an empathetic view of mental illness from the perspective of psych ward nurses, doctors, patients, and family members. It addresses stigmatizing and controversial topics in a digestible way through the lens of Korean culture. Sometimes tragic, deeply human, with moments of levity, humor, and romantic storylines typical of a K-drama. I absolutely loved the show in its own right and as a cultural artifact."

"I have happily rewatched the entire series. Some of my favorite shows/movies are those that examine "what does it mean to be a good person?" and the Good Place does exactly that. It's not laugh out loud funny most times, but it is entertaining and surprisingly educational with satisfying and meaningful character arcs. I really commend it on its ability to package big ideas in an accessible format for a general audience."
