100 85% The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) - Rated 08 Sep 2009
"As Will Smith plays a below the poverty line father, he shows the sacrifices a father is willing to make for his son. The extent at which father goes for son to "pursue happiness" is heart wrenching. His devotion to creating a better life for the two of them is inspiring. Will Smith and son acting together may have seemed like a bad idea, however, it was phenomenal. The connection between the two was clear as day, which strongly added to the movie. Definitely go see it!"
95 71% Saw (2004) - Rated 08 Sep 2009
"One of the most compelling and horrifying films of 2004, as well as in history. The violence and gore of this movie is infinite, along with the twists and turns. From scene to scene you don't know what will happen next. With a thought out plan, the killer shows his victims how important the choices they make are, and who it may effect. Overall although twisted, this movie was great, I strongly suggest it to anyone who enjoys a truly scary movie."
90 14% The Dark Knight (2008) - Rated 27 Aug 2009
"Great cast, with one of the best, most disturbingly evil and twisted villain. Keeps you on your toes, and requires you're attention at all time with the speed of the plot. With the constant action, and the choices Batman is forced to make throughout, your attention is constantly being called for. Great movie!"
90 14% Remember the Titans (2000) - Rated 27 Aug 2009
"A team oriented movie that leaves you inspired to overcome the greatest obstacles you might face. This football movie shows the struggle to overcome racial prejudiced. The boys must come together to achieve one common goal, winning states. Sports fanatics will love it, and those who aren't will have a greater respect for team sports."
90 14% The Notebook (2004) - Rated 27 Aug 2009
"The ultimate love story that rarely leaves a dry eye in the house. The struggle between a poor boy and well off girl fighting to stay together, with everyone against it. The modern Romeo and Juliet if you will. This movie shows how love conquers all, and it is absolutely adorable!"
60 0% The Happening (2008) - Rated 27 Aug 2009
"Ultimately this movie was disappointing. The beginning draws you in, and the drama is intense and nail-biting. With a great start, the drama slowly diminishes and the ending is a letdown. The end leaves you confused as to what the plot was to begin with, and what had been solved if anything. Could've been better."
90 14% The Departed (2006) - Rated 27 Aug 2009
"Great crime movie with mutliple twists and unexpected turns. The story between good cop and bad cop is incredibly creative as well as suspenseful. The romance displays the struggle to show one's true self, and how to protect those you love. Phenomenal movie I highly recommend it!"
