"I can appreciate its eagerness to capture life as you would normally expect to witness it. But unfortunately it didn't make for a very interesting story. I found I really didn't care too much about any of the characters. I liked the idea of the film better than the film itself. The ending was very sweet though and could have concluded a much better story than what was given here."

"As an atheist I can appreciate Ricky Gervais' attempt at creating a mainstream story that touches on the issue of religion and it's power of deception on the world. It also had a lot of awesome cameo's but in the end it just wound up being unfunny, contrived and just pretty bad overall. I laughed a few times but not often enough whatsoever. I watched for about an hour just to see what would happen in the end which I saw coming from a mile away regardless."
