A few friends meet and dance in a secluded house with no one around. What can go wrong ? The first part of the movie is classic and holds up; however, after the reveal, it's unfortunately not entertaining enough. We are in a technology-advanced world, but her only abilities are an intelligence meter (0% or 100% doesn't change anything—they always act dumb!), an advanced version of Google Translate (the German joke deserved no more than 20 seconds), and an eye color modifier. I was surprised by the lack of creativity, but then, with no surprise, they apparently spent $29 million to promote that movie. Explains the full TV show—not really inspiring— cast. You can't make any chase, hunt, or fight fun if the only ability of your robot is an eye color modifier. The writer tried to cover up all this with some pure love, patriarchy, incels, and robot soul themes, but everything at once is just messy. Looking forward to seeing Sophie Thatcher in more ambitious projects.

PS: They play not once but twice that Boo Thang song. Please stop, let it disappear forever.
