Rin Tin Tin was a sensation, making 26 pictures for Warners while starring in his own live 1930s radio show "The Wonder Dog". At the peak of his popularity, Warners maintained 18 trained stand-ins to reduce any stress on their dog star, while providing Rinty with a private chef who prepared daily lunches of tenderloin steak (consumed as live classical music was played to help ease the dog's digestion.) Rin Tin Tin died in 1932 at the age of 14, returned to his birthplace in France, and interred

If you've been practicing editing for a month and you can't do any better, you're making slow progress.

It's fun because you say the names of the movies when you see them!

Some clips of movies and some music. It lives up to it's billing. Not sure why one would actually watch this not associated with some sort of award show etc.

Proof that not every thing in the universe that can be viewed needs to have its own IMDb page.

How do you watch this and not feel proud to love movies? I wish there were something like this in feature length form.

Some may disparage the montage for the films left out, but I really love the fact that I agree with almost every movie they showed and that I could think of so many more which could have been added.

Some dubious choices (Rocky, really?) as per usual with the AFI, but if this doesn't get you pumped for American film, I don't know what will. Oh...you're just going to go watch the Godfather then? Yeah, OK. That work's too.

Disappointing montage. I goes by quickly and, while some effort is made for thematic synergy, the choice of films often seems haphazard.
