The End

I would highly recommend to watch this one after watching the rest, as even when it works as a standalone season it's the one with most references to others (many actors repeating roles, I think some make 4 characters even) and even seems as a sequel to one or even two particular seasons. The show changes a lot after one episode and what you thought it was at the beginning turns into a very different thing, but overall the concept is nice and it's a decent season.

Passes the time.

If only they left the warlock/witch nonesense out of it, but maybe I hate those parts so much is because Paulson as Cordelia is the most aggravating bullshit AHS has ever pulled. Paulson is just not a good actress. Period. Shame, because there are occasionally very inspired episodes. It is nice that AHS is back to the over-the-top maximalism of earlier seasons instead of their attempts at "serious" horror stories a la Roanoke.

I'm really hoping there are no more AHS seasons so this show can end on a good note.

Overall is a good season but kind of confusing, one of the reasons: actors playing various characters. I could see the whole thing in just one day, though. It is indeed a crossover between first and third season, finally.
