There might not be a better TV duo than James Spader and William Shatner. Candice Bergen is absolutely regal in her role as well. And this show has made it a life goal of mine to find a friend who will join me on the balcony at the end of a trying day for two fingers of scotch and a cigar.

Losing more characters than Game of Thrones is the most impressive mark of this series. With a litany of cast quitting there hardly goes an episode where they don't have to explain the mysterious disappearance of an actor. This is coupled with equally uncomfortable introduction episodes where they pretend they've always been around and try to make arcs that can catch up to the shows two mainstays. Undeniably Spader and Shatner are the reason to watch. Ham-handedly pushes a socialist agenda.

Boston Legal is nearly perfect. If not for one or two characters or story arcs to bring it down. James Spader and William Shatner are an amazing pair and by far the best reason to watch the series. If you don't like them, the non stop quipping, rich dialogue and fascinating court scenes will keep you around.
