Brass Eye

So good that all the big news channels have become more and more like it ever since.

An absolutely brilliant spoof of news magazine/tabloid television shows. So brilliant that the episodes are nearly indistinguishable from today's tabloid shows, 20-some years later. Chris Morris proves himself to be one of the great satirists of all time.

Hilarious, and most of the commentary on the media and society remains relevant 20 years later. At times it's a little too deadpan and over-elaborate, but it's a very minor quibble in a great miniseries.

Either I'm not British enough to appreciate nonsense as humor, or this spoof has not aged well

I'm not British so I didn't really get all of the trolling real celebrities segments, but this is still some damn fine absurdist comedy riffing on the news and media.

Quadrospazzed on a life-glug

Near perfect.
