The characters are brilliantly developed. This is one of those series where slight caricatures fire up things. The series takes full advantage of the possibilities offered by animation. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and makes you think, not everything is handed to you on a silver platter. Dark, cool humour as well

Loved the universe. The characters and their relations, the story and the development together with action - much less. If this was a bit more subtle or chill series I think it would ne amazing. But the temptation to do something fast paced and approachable for everyone feels like they missed an opportunity on a contemplative art work.

Great little series about mushrooms. All works well here: story, characters, music, style.

Spectacular mycology thriller from the same producer as Scavengers Reign. Some similarity in the relationships of nature perhaps, but ultimately its own amazing experience. Funny, and scary and wonderfully skeptical and realist. One of the best new shows in recent years.

Great storytelling. Recommend watching it. The previous cartoon from that author i recommend as well. Just stay first episode to understand

S01: A mixture of good and bad; hopefully season 2 will be more even. Best part about the show so far: Every character has an agenda (including the mushroom!), and none of the agendas are compatible with each other. Worst part, so far: people make stupid decisions in an attempt to create artificial conflict.

Didn't make it very far tbh. Some people make drugs a part of their personality, and I think this is for them. To watch, and feel the 'Yeah! Me too!' moments. Shrooms, while inherently more interesting given their organic nature and the bevvy of historical and happenchance stories that can be easily accessed using them as a storytelling vehicle, just aren't as appealing a subject as for me personally as LSD. I do feel they invite direct comparison, and resulted in a less compelling world for me.

Unique style and promising idea, even if carried a biiiiit too much. No one is smart AND ridiculously stupid at the same time like the characters in this series.
