The Netflix anime adaptation curse strikes again. I could have lived with all the pointless changes if the show had just been good on its own, but nope. Welcome to the ouch indeed.

*makes old man grumbling noises*

You know what's better? The anime.

I made it through 3 episodes, which I consider a success.

Having not seen the anime, I liked it. It was charming. Too bad about the instant cancellation.

At least it started alright.

lame, cookie cutter story, nothing new.

I didn't care that all the character's stories were different and was interested to see where they took it but towards the end it becomes very apparent that the changes are made to fit it into a generic TV structure. Maybe Spike's twin brother, Dr Fearless Ramoray will turn up in the next series?

All the magic is gone. There's no balance. Neither the og Bebop had a good ending, but this one has an abominable one. Pass it.
