Even though this had literally nothing to do with the game, if it wasn't for this show, I would have never tried playing D&D as a teenager. Thanks, gateway cartoon!

Nostalgia can't save this mess that has little or nothing to do with the popular RPG.

How can you go wrong with a genre like this? Don't worry. They find lots of ways. The writing's a mess and it has no depth.

[Distant] Remember thinking this was all too Narnia/Pilgrim's progress at the time, never been tempted to check since.

Saw this when I was a kid. Never got into it.

Stupidly written 80's children's show about a bunch of white kids + token black girl who get tossed a-la C.S. Lewis into a sketchy fantasy realm. The creators tried to tap into the burgeoning tabletop RPG fad of D&D, but the show demonstrated absolute obliviousness to what D&D was actually about.
