Top badass moment? Oops. George Clooney makes a mistake even bigger than becoming Batman. But I'm not without a degree of sympathy for him. My own satnav often seems to make errors. I frequently have to make split second decisions about whether to ignore its instructions or not, which in the worst case scenario can result in my wasting a bit of time and having to find somewhere to turn around and go back the way I came. So I could relate to his position. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

Good. Remake of a 1964 live TV special and also broadcast live, its a decent cold war era "what if" scenario where the USA accidently triggers a nuclear attack against Russia. It gets off to a slow start but builds up to a pretty satisfying edge of your seat climax. Recommended for rental.

The production style is truly awful and ruins the film. The acting and cinematography are weak as well. If you're looking for a tense cold-war drama/suspense film about generals and presidents deciding the fate of the world, go watch '13 Days' instead.

Unnecessary remake that heavily relied on the live format and eclectic casting. Watch the original instead for a more crafted tension and authentic feel.

Despite the talent involved it never manages to captivate you or pull you into the story.
