Falling Skies

Just misses being something really cool. If you have run out of shows to binge watch or are just craving sci fi with multiple seasons, you could do worse.

Formulaic drivel with no tension. Gave up after a few episodes

Started of pretty awesome, but the last few seasons are just othing special, nothing new. Great first season, bad later on.

It's such a shame I have to give this score, because I really liked the first couple of seasons. Then it just became boring, and the end is very rushed.

Falling Skies was a decent sci-fi show, that was eventually let down by shifting its focus from the adults to the children, and a rushed resolution. Wyle is great as the everyman hero, as is Cunningham as the duplicitous anti-hero. Unfortunately, by the end, the show's repetitive pattern of betray, relationship drama and last minute saviours erodes the initial good will. The design of the aliens and technology is pretty good.

Quite good.

worth a watch

It's not the best of Sci-fi series out there, but if you're into this genre it will definitely fill a couple of lost Sunday afternoons.

This started pretty well, but it got dragged so much, with new aliens and stuff, that by the time it ended it had became painful to watch
