So this "movie" is two episodes of a Japanese TV show "Starwolf" jammed together. It's a cheap and shoddy affair, but it has it's weird charms. The effects are terrible, but in a charmingly weird way, especially when they seem to be just outright copying "Star Wars". The story doesn't really end so much as just abruptly stop. All in all, there worse ways to spend your time.

This was always one of my favorite MST3k episodes, but the plot was really hard to follow when I was younger. Coming back to that, it's clear that's for a reason; after having watched a lot of modern-day Japanese live-action-special-effects-adventure shows, I can see that this one is oddly structured even by the standards of the genre. Mind you, the bargain-basement dubbing-and-editing job doesn't help. But it's still a fun kind of weirdness, from the studio that brought us Ultraman.

A terrible movie with lot's of eye close ups and puffy cheeked drunk. No idea what was going on, and apparently there is a sequel. Crap
