A dumb and somewhat grating show that always felt out of place among the cooler, better-written Disney Afternoon shows. At the very least it led to "A Goofy Movie", which is legitimately good.

Because DuckTales - Rescue Rangers - TaleSpin - Darkwing Duck felt like such a natural two-hour programming block of action adventure goodness, this show, perhaps through no fault of its own, felt like a bit of an unwelcome interloper as basically just a suburban sitcom.

got some surprisingly good stuff at times, think end was too pete-focused

I remember watching this in the cinema when I was a kid. I liked this movie then. As the storyline was Goofy's son didn't think his dad was cool in the beginning and then he lies to him and Goofy gets all hurt emotionally and the kid feels bad and tries everything to make him feel better. It's relate able to many kids back in my day. Watching this now I wouldn't like this.

Pete's wife was strangely attractive.
