Heroes Reborn was an idea that I feel they never were really able to pull off. It's clear that they had written stories to try to bring all of our favorite characters back, and then obviously most of them didn't come back, so they had to come up with some new characters and stories that just weren't as good. There are moments in there that are enjoyable, but I miss the original show, and this wasn't it.

Wasted potential, the TV show. Heroes Reborn is a pale imitation of the original series, capitalising on the perceived demand for reboots and nostalgia. In comparison, Reborn is badly paced with more bland teenage characters and worse acting. There are a few good ideas, but overall the show is executed poorly.

I was looking forward to it, but (5 episodes in) am somewhat disappointed so far. It's cool to see HRG again and it's fun to see storylines cross over into each other. Robbie Kay is doing pretty good as the teleporting kid. But there's just a strange lack of big set piece fun compared to 24: Live Another Day, a vastly superior 4-years-later series revival. It looks weirdly low-budget and cheap too. The Flash in on the CW and looks like it has twice the money to burn. Will re-rate when it ends.

I was looking forward to this and after 10 episodes the series grew on me, but never lived up to its expectations.
