Marvelously humane. Excessive care.

Solid. NY is a great city to set a show like this in, in fact, I dare say the city inspired the show. You might brush by an interesting person on the street and get a 3 second glimpse of life in their shoes, HM takes the time to drill down into a unique rabbit hole each episode, bouncing from culture to culture, or sub-culture to sub-culture. Comes with a surreal/bohemian blend touched on in Louie, set in the same city, but we have a different outlook (& ST) which is all the same, entertaining.

First episode was very annoying. And last episode for me.

the interconnected 'hive' city. all the little visual clues you get to play detective with (one of the clearest examples of show don't tell I've ever seen). and just generally warm, kind, joyful, and creative.
