It's like the writers came up with a concept, characters, and the actors that would play them, and then let writers on fanfiction.net take over from there. I mean this show is decently-acted junk food in every sense of the term. It's pretty much made for the binge-watching era, and this middle-class, Scooby-Doo squad of assholes are always killing people or ethically compromising themselves, yet they get away with it because Viola Davis is the destroyer and lord help you if you fuck with her.

A very energetic and entertaining pilot does a great job establishing the mood and characters and mystery. It then gets a little worse with every single episode, until it's pretty damn bad. You don't need to have taken a single law class in your life to stare bug-eyed in horror at the liberties this show takes with trial decorum.

This show has perhaps the best executed usage of flashforward. Every season you get a censored glimpse of the whole picture, and as it unfolds, you see the picture more and more clearly. On top of that, you have great writing, casting, and character development until the very end of the show.

The first season was so addicting, but as the seasons went on the show just started to feel tired and worn out. I stopped caring about the characters after the second season.

Would have worked better as a TV series with only two or three seasons. S1 was completely binge-worthy, and S2+S3 were also pretty good. After that it's all a bit too much, with everyone screwing, killing, and blaming everyone else. S6 was okay, tying the whole story together. The acting is top-notch; especially Viola Davis saves the most cringe-worthy moments. Soundtrack is fantastic.

This has never been a good show, but it was a really fun ride.

A great 1st season devolves into a mess of petulance and an abundance snot-crying. The show is fun, but what started of as a compelling mystery becomes a comedy of self-parody that tries to top itself each year. By the sixth and final series' finale, the show meanders to a contrived but conclusive end.

I enjoyed it in spite of myself. It was too violent and frenetic for my tastes but there were some interesting things about the way it was presented and put together.

Exciting, but lacks momentum. Pacing could have been better. On the other hand I abslutely love performances and the story.

The journey of Annalise Keating and her students drives you crazy almost each week. Each season there is a master story and around this the team is trying to solve different cases sometimes representing guilty ones. Timeline might be a little bit confusing as writers are using mostly flash-forward scenes but that makes the show entertaining. In every episode you get more details about the flash-forward scene (first episode of season) which keeps you wondering what will happen next !!!
