Stanley Tucci plays Sherlock Holmes. Not bad.

Interesting ideas, I feel the cast held it better than the script. Stanley Tucci: Prison Sherlock would have been greenlit by me without any of the other stuff.

The seperate stories, although managing to come together, felt a bit too afar. Sherlock style prisoner etc were a bit too out there but was still an enjoyable watch. I did not like the ending.. Come on..

Some very decent acting wasted on a completely bullshit script.

Entertaining enough with some extremely good acting but this really pushes one's suspension of disbelief. Tucci's intuition and deduction rival that of Sherlock's and Detective Conan's combined teetering on supernatural or divine omnipotency. It becomes tedious when the solutions to the mysteries are so outlandish that the viewer has no chance to guess them on their own. Rating could have been a notch or two higher but the ending is stupid beyond the suspension of disbelief.

Bad on every level. Tennant is ok, but the rest of the cast is awful and tucci is horribly overacting every scene. Plot is awful but want to be clever but ended up not caring because it’s so unbelievable. Avoid

Given up with this after one episode. The Tucci part was excellent thanks to the fantastic Estimond, but Tennants component of the story was simply stupid. There is plenty to watch on TV which stretches credulity, but this snaps it completely (and in a very obvious way, which is doubly unforgivable). You cannot make up for an incredible plot line with subsequent "excitement" - It doesn't work. Tennant should start a turkey farm, he has a good track record in them.
