More of the same from Jimmy. You either like his jokes or ya don't.

Carr has been much better. He's trying too hard here, the material gets tiring, and it's too one-note. But I got enough laughs to recommend it.

Jimmy Carr's looking tired. And weird. But this show aint the climax to go out on. When it’s funny it’s funny but much is meh with too many Gary Delaney-esque puns, stuttered pacing, and Carr’s protracted gurning after punchlines starts to grind. Poorly-directed too (irritating camera periodically spinning around Carr and no close-ups of the audience – even when he’s interacting with somebody). He makes a good point about the necessity of gallows humour, but had darker material in the past.

If Hell is an endless mansion, one of the rooms has a straightjacket chair and speakers that blast Carr's laughter on an infinite loop. I've enjoyed his earlier shows but HDM feels tired with all punch lines dependant on being crass or mean. I know that's his schtick but here it feels like Carr is uninterestedly going through the motions.
