An interesting bridge between Howard Hawks' The Thing and John Carpenter's version, Killdozer sheds the arctic setting for a remote island and a piece of man made machinery turning on its masters. Doesn't do a whole lot with the conceit, nor does it do a great job of building suspense for most of its run time. Cool shots of the Killdozer killing things, though, and a nice sense of ambiguity at the end.

This 70's "horror" film is a boring mix between "Maximum Overdrive" (1986) and "Death Bed:The Bed That Eats"(1977). What could be an interesting movie about the isolated human characters versus a sentient piece of machinery is instead just a slow lackluster watch with some unintentionally funny bulldozer kills. Not really anything worth seeking out.

I have vague memories of a killer vending machine spitting out consumer goods - and the killdozer itself. Special. A beautiful movie that spawned a beautiful rock band from Wisconsin.

I don't know why anyone would watch this. It's bland as can be.
