I'm just waiting for the episode where Louis is in therapy, complaining about all the ridiculous people he meets in his documentaries.

I guess they're like 'mad cat ladies' but aren't all ladies and own exotic animals instead of cats. Some eccentric people and light touching upon animal rights but I didn't get much from this one.

Could not virtually all of the questions that Theroux asks be equally well directed at "legitimate" zoos?

Incredibly interesting but there's nothing much to learn from it. Good with hindsight.

Not a very good documentary. Louis is fun to watch with those animals, but nothing really insightful. The people who own exotic animals are usually very arrogant and ignorant as hell. It's just painful to see monkeys dressed up and even with a piercing in their ears. Also, why would an exotic animal shelter breed more animals? Fuck
