Great series overall. The quality varies, of course, but even the worst of the shorts have cool or interesting things in them. Worthy successor to Heavy Metal.

You will absolutely love this show, if you're 16 and have ever recorded yourself doing the floss dance.

Really fresh stuff - it's impossible to not find something you love and the journey through the 18 episodes is quite fun. Looking forward to S2.

Each episode in this anthology keeps you wanting to watch more. Depending on the short you get a ton of diversity in both genre and style. I loved each one and they run perfectly together. This lived up to all I hoped it would be.

The quality varies quite a bit, and the first series (at least) is a bit too into sex and violence. But there are plenty of interesting stories in here.

Hard to judge a whole series when each vignette is its own production, but it seems to rely on heavy gore and violence, and the plots either have been done before or aren't too deep. Not to my taste.

Post watching season 3: Some of the episodes are still outstanding, but season 3 is definitely the worst so far, I think in large part because there was less thematic diversity. All seasons have variable quality episodes but there was definitely something really really good to come out of each season. Ultimately each season is a pretty quick watch so if you like some animation, blood, and sci-fi ideas, this will hit the spot.

İlk sezonu harika hikâyelerle dolu olsa da ikinci sezon için aynı şeyler söylenemez. Harika ve her bölüm farklı bir şekilde karşımıza çıkan art stylelar diziyi üst noktalara taşıyor.

Quality varies but there are so much well executed surprising ideas, it well worth diving into this yummi salad of sci-fi animations

Top notch entertainment. My only disappointment is that they're too short. Some premises of these episodes would make a wild full feature length movie.

Had some really excellent sci-fi shorts mixed in with some meh ones. Criticisms include examples of really poor Reddit tier humour, some very obvious modern tropes and the pseudo-cockney accents (in the future no less) that set my teeth on edge.

This is actually pretty good. Don't judge it on the first episode. I thought it's utter trash and barely decided to give the series a second chance.

With so many studios involved it's clear that there are a lot of shifts in qualitiy. Sometimes it's thought provoking in terms of the relationship between humans and technology, sometimes it's just stupid, especially when it just cares about the action. Some episodes are written well and have a dramaturgy, some others just end and leave you unsatisfied.

Even though some episodes felt more contrived and gimmicky than others, the episodes that delivered did so with a punch. Any fan of sci-fi will find an episode or two to their liking. Update: Season 2 boasts much of the same high quality of animation, style and fantastical story-telling.

Best thing Netflix has done. Excellent range of quality, feel, content, style, and a few gems that are graphically stunning or touching or thoughtful that make the whole series worth it.

A mixed bag in quality, but at the very least I can say that each episode boasts impressive animation and really cool concepts that I would love to see get fleshed out in their own series. In terms of narrative, I'd say the only ones worth watching are "Beyond the Aquila Rift", "Three Robots", "The Witness", and "Zima Blue". "Good Hunting" and "Suits" are decent runner-ups. The rest can boast interesting ideas and fun action but the writing and storytelling isn't always up to par.

No plots, no twists, no punch lines. Really not much that's engaging in this anthology series that feels more like a bunch of animation studios portfolio pieces. Yes, they all look stunning, but that's where it ends. Story, people, the story is where it's really at! If only they hired some competent writers..

This is like 45% robots, 80% death and 10% love, FYI. A few of them are really good, some of them are kind of meh.

Draws on a certain juvenile sci-fi energy, ranging from tolerable to excellent along the way. Watching these in a row gave me the feeling that watching these in a row may not be the best way to view them. Favorites for me are "The Secret War," "Sonnie's Edge," and "Zima Blue."

Besides 'Zima Blue', I haven't found the slightest interest in it.

Almost all the segments can be summarized thusly: a pretty interesting visual style trying to mask subpar writing with the "help" of healthy doses of edginess. The short run time makes the segments pretty easy to get through, but taken as a whole it gets tiresome. However, as in most anthologies, there are some really good ones. My favorites were "A Secret War" for its stunning animation, "Suits" for being pure fun and "Zima Blue" for actually doing what short stories does best.

I wouldn’t call every episode a slam dunk but it’s definitely got enough interesting/trippy/entertaining sci-fi stuff in there for a recommend. Interesting to see them playing around with episode lengths - plays to the strengths of streaming distribution.

Didn't make it past the heavy-handed monster rape scene in the beginning. The animated element mixed with the... monster element was a little too Eastern for my tastes, and I chose to hang up my fedora and bail.

It would be nice to see this continue on as an animated mature audiences Outer Limits. Not a lot going for a many of the episodes except for the spectacle of computer animated violence and nudity, the episodes need better ideas behind them- basing more of them on existing short stories could improve that.

Stunningly beautiful animation! My three favorite episodes of this, for the most part, very cool anthology series - s1e4 (SUITS), s1e7 (BEYOND THE AQUILA RIDGE) and s1e10 (SHAPESHIFTERS) - I've already rewatched, and I shall certainly do so again. I also really liked s1e2 (THREE ROBOTS) which was quite hilarious. The second season features equally impressive animation, s2e3 (POP SQUAD), s2e4 (SNOW IN THE DESERT), s2e5 (THE TALL GRASS) and s2e7 (LIFE HUTCH) being the standouts.
