Oddly repetitive at times, but at its best this series has some remarkable images of some remarkable wildlife.

Beautiful and very fascinating. What an incredible island with amazing animals and diverse nature. And also topped off with Attenboroughs great voice. Love the series and I'm crazy about that little Pygmy Chameleon!

Madagascar, or 'Lemurs' as it should've been called, is an okay but utterly missable short series that gives a lot of screen time to the aforementioned primates (plus the odd chameleon and a handful of other animals) without staying with any of the species long enough to make it worthwhile. HD shots of cute creatures is fine if you like that sort of thing, but bar the final episode there's virtually nothing there to actually learn. I expected more from Attenborough.
