I get why it has a difficult reputation but it is a beautifully raw and honest television project; maybe too raw at times for its creators even (and me). I felt there were real moments of poignancy though that I could write a thousand words on. If I would have ever have met Paul McCartney I now know what I would have said - "I quite liked Magical Mystery Tour actually"

New comfort movie discovered. Is it a “good movie”? No, it has a nonsensical plot, nothing happens. But I absolutely adore it, it’s bizarre, its psychedelic, it’s The Beatles and I’m very biased toward them and their fantastic music. So much fun

Now, I like surrealism. I like the Beatles. In fact, one of my favourite ever songs is the surreal Beatles track I Am the Walrus, which is shown in this... piece... for some reason. Never let Ringo on camera again. And never let Paul behind one.

Utter nonsense. The occasional decent musical number does not make up for it.

Undoubtedly the Beatles' worst film, but it's worth it for the completely and unquestionably terrifying I Am The Walrus segment.

The Beatles best. Fun and surreal with an unquestionably perfect soundtrack. I can definitely understand why people really don't like this one though.

A few, few great moments, like the I Am The Walrus sequence. Too much acid inside their brains, I suppose.

The Beatles worst film, but still enjoyable. Don't watch this film for a plot, or if you are not a fan of the Beatles music. Some of the sketches have a little charm, athough some are also fairly poor.
