Masters of Sex

I feel like it said mostly everything it had to actually say about sexuality and human connection back in season 1, then became a soap opera. A pretty cheesy and inauthentic one, too. It still looks nice and has Lizzy Caplan's boobs, though.

I have to say I keep going to follow this series mainly because of the main leads, Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan. Their chemistry is everything in this series. The storyline is okay as well.

Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan are fantastic in this, as is Caitlin Fitzgerald.

Michael Sheen has forever been ruined for me. "Tonight I need to reacquaint myself with your body. I will touch every part of you. I will put my mouth on you. I will spread your legs." Jesus. The way he mesmerisingly commands not only the attention of Caplan's character but the viewer's... I'll never ever be able to see Sheen in other, even if goofy, roles without creaming my pants. Hot DAMN.

monotonous after 2 seasons. Not a huge Caplan fan, and Sheen is somewhat...tweedy in this role. Some great characters that don't get fleshed out, and many of the interesting parts between the leads are left out.
