Minority Report

Visually pleasing show that could have been good if the main characters weren't all braindead dumb. Not really a what-if though, I don't think they could have gotten much more out of this concept and those actors. I enjoyed watching it, but I'm rating it now since I'm convinced there will never be a season 2. No way this get renewed with how bland it was.

This TV continuation of Minority Report misses the mark on intelligent sci-fi, delivering a show that is merely a tepid futuristic procedural. Although it only lasted 10 episodes, it did start to show a little promise with its overarching storyline involving the main precog, Agatha, having more control in the background. Ultimately, it was too bland and its futuristic aesthetic looked cheap.

Minority Report is probably one of my top twenty movies of all time. This show misses most all of what made the movie good (outside of some neat future tech stuff, the sole reason my score isn't even lower). Bland and morally simplistic.

This sequel series to the science-fiction thriller of the same name is a vanilla crime procedural tormenting the futuristic world of its predecessor and the sci-fi genre in general. Basically, it's 2015's "Almost Human". -- An excruciating take on the 2002 Spielberg movie.
