Super hilarious, but dragged down by the overall tone of the show. I can't really explain it, but it always gave me a weird feeling. But then again, damn was it funny, too.

A really creative show, but it hasn't aged well. Some sketches feel out of place watching in 2024. And a lot of the sketches are amusing but not laugh-out-loud funny. I appreciate the structure with the sketches all flowing into each other. And there's a lot of variety of sketches. Overall, it just didn't make me laugh much. Memorable sketches worth checking out though - On the Spot News, Intervention, The Fairsley Difference, The Audition, Pre-Taped Call-In Show

Early 00's student dorm nostalgia, not sure if it holds up in 2023 but fond memories

Easily the best sketch show ever on TV. Larry Kleist, the new KKK, the lie detector test, Civil War; I could fill this just listing all of the sketches that are better than anything ever on SNL, Mad TV, etc.

Pretty great college humour from the '90s, making jokes on topical, yet nowadays still nostalgically relevant matters. There's a bunch of great jokes through the show, mostly in the second half of season 3, though some of the skits go on for too long. But at least there's hardly any recurring skits, making most episodes original and enjoyable to watch, with the connection between the skits sometimes being cleverly humorous themselves. Strong contender for most amount of jokes in a TV comedy show

Mr. Show always pushed the limit of where a skit could go. Despite their own displeasure for the links, they give the sketches an overall cohesion that creates something better than its parts.

(Seasons 1 & 2) Great variety of subject matter, overall very funny sketches that flow together in a much more interesting way than other shows like The State or Monty Python did. Though frequently it makes me laugh aloud, and sometimes even plain blows my mind, just as often it's a reminder that in the 1990s and 2000s all you had to do to be praised as a brilliant satirist was put on a fake Southern drawl and act hyperbolically conservative.

My absolute favorite skit show of all time. Amazing cast and writing and some occasionally truly genius level depth.
