Night Court

One of my favorite shows from the early 80's, the entire cast was solid but John Laraoquette stole every scene he was in.

My recollection is that John Larroquette was very good in this.

I liked this show when I was a kid. I was more captivated by Richard Moll who was a tall guy that was bald. I was always wondering as a kid why that was so. Anyways good show.

This show was too adult for me to fully enjoy as an 8-14 year old, circa 1986-1992, but I was still compelled to watch every episode, whether I understood the humour or not. The supporting characters more than made up for any shortcomings the stories had. John Larroquette's Dan Fielding will go down as one of the best characters in sitcom history, ironically, as only a gay man could portray such a misogynistic character and get away with it!
